How do I get a server running?

Hi,

I've been playing a few games with some buddies recently, but whenever any of us try to host a game or create a standalone server, none of the others can see it, or even connect directly to the I.P. address. Is this coz all the official stuff has been taken down and there's a new way to go about it, or am I just doing it wrong?

Sounds like both.

did you read the sticky on s2.0 at the top of thread? Did you download the software you need?

Have you tried running a lan server first and seeing if you could join it?

Did you set up your server text file attribution correctly?
