Edit: nvm none of my business. It's worth the watch no matter who is interviewing him though. Thought it was really good. I can write some experts when I have the time, but it's honestly a lot. He was very open. Talks about Fede's input on the designs. How they changed over time. There is some cool discussion about how the offspring came to be and how it was originally meant to progressively morph into something that looked more Xeno like. Also goes back and discusses some parts of Covenant and flat out says, yes it was the intent of the script that David was the originally creator of the Xenomorph. He admits the lore is muddy and the Mural from Prometheus is contradictory. Paraphrasing but something like, " How much was Ridley just flying but the seat of his pants? You have Fede who has reverence for the lore of everything and then you also have Ridley who is fantastic film maker and why would anyone ever question is decision making" He doesn't say it as a slight or anything. There's also a point where talks about Ridley in a meeting saying there would be a point in Covenant where you see face huggers run around "because you've never seen that before". Which just further cements to me that he either HATES Aliens or has never even seen it lol

It's pretty insightful and Dane had some cool stories. I can't imagine hating someone more than I like Alien info lol I wouldn't have watched half of the trash podcasts I've seen Fede on answering questions if I had that outlook.

Mr. H can be kinda fair with franchises that he actually likes. He's not super quick to go on about "wokeness"in either alien or predator (well he kinda is with the new predator film when it comes to video titles). When it comes to stuff like marvel or Star Wars I won't watch any of his stuff because he clearly doesn't even like them to begin with. His audience though for the most part are completely brain dead.

He's the first person I ever heard spewing that asinine "get woke go broke" mantra that's so dominant in those circles now, and every stray video from him that I used to catch reeked of more of the same of that nonsense. I just couldn't be bothered with his stuff anymore.

And just as a cherry on top, he's the one responsible for the massive Alien: Romulus leak that spoiled the whole movie for me and so many others before the first teaser even dropped. Pretty sure he did the same exact thing with Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire as well...
