Nah, that happened a long time ago.
I just don't want to believe it. 2007-2009 were the best times of my life with PC gaming. I had plenty of friends on xfire, even had our own AJL clan and everything.
Well it is the way it is. We can only hope for a new avp game that can achieve at least a half the stuff avp2 did.

Been trying to get AVP2 working again, I installed the 1.5.2 patch and I can see the server, but when I try to join it kicks me with the message "Some game resources differ from the server." Does anyone know a fix for this?
Have you installed the 1096 patch before installing 1.5.2?

You may have to uninstall the savior patch, install this one first, then install the savior again.

i played MP demo of avp2 few years ago and enyoj it very much but i never actualy bought the game (piracy was normal due to high game prices and low standards... nobody actualy bought any game except for MP and that is only recently. dont hate us :P)
so is it possible to play with hmm ilegal version?
if not... how many ppl play this game nowdays and is it worth to buy just for MP?
i would like to buy it but they dont have it in steam store and i doubt its still in multimedia shops.
and will it work on win7 OS?

We can't say there are illegal version of the game nowadays.
The game sold out, Sierra has been bought by Activision and the Master Server closed.
No more support, Monolith, Sierra or Fox Interractive don't make money out of this game anymore.
It's a dead game still alive, thanks to the community.
