I say Ravenger. Its big, bad and with 10 your most likely gonna win the level. Love to see it on the Big screen
Probably PredAlien for me. At least they don't kill their hosts outright like a Ravager. Plus they increase their health with each kill and automatically heal themselves.
The Warrior. Barring it's ridiculous blue color, it's the Alien that looks most like an Alien. It's also pretty powerful on its own when upgraded. It's got tons of health thanks to the "coming back to life" thing.
I distinctly recall one time where I was a Predator Brawler and was about to attack the Queen. She was alone and only had a single warrior to defend her. So I just send in the Brawler. Since the Warrior was upgraded, it would come back to life and have resistance to "knock back" while on the floor but I figured "Hey, I'm a damn Predator, no stupid Alien can kill me!". Boy, did that Warrior kick my ass.
Ravager all the way.
Only a Ravager could produce such a scene. 8)

^ Hell Yea. Thats what im talking about. Though having a lot of Ravengers seems to have a cheat code in. There so powerful youll win hands down. Yet you cant rely on them building a Hive
Predaliuen has definately gotta be my fave unit for the aliens!!!!!!They heal which is cool. 8)
Drone for me, they might be weak, but in a HUGE numbers with their acid spit they are really hard to beat. ;D
Is teh warrrior from aliens and drone from ALien 4 and runner is from alien 3 right?
Well, I don't think they were intended to be called separate things from film to film. A lot of people refer to the ones in Aliens as warriors. If anything, the first one is the drone. Not sure about A4. Runner from Alien 3, yes.
But the drones/warriors in Extinction aren't based on any particular film.
Either Ravanger or Queen for me...
Ravagers are my favorite unit, but the predalien is the best Alien unit because they can get ridiculous amounts of hp if you keep them alive during battles.
i picked the queen but i think they are all cool and all necessary to create a good hive...
the ravanger is cool but you can't use them with facehuggers
i like the facehuggers because if you bring a lot of them with 5-10 other full grown aliens it's fun to watch them jump on their faces!!!
the carrier is also cool because the face hugger can jump off of them as well
queen is the biggest and baddest!!!

I agree. I think that with enough kills, the PredAlien can quickly become the most dangerous unit in the game.

well, i am working on the ravager model in an animation program, almost done, i have plenty of ideas for it in a movie ;) ahem, decapitation, cough, slash through body vertically, clears throat, stuff like that
anyways, i vote ravager, best queen guard, perfect assault when hosts are plentiful, especially good for hydras, exosuits, and blazers, oooh and don't forget sentry turrets :)

i love the predaliens:) i like how they get bigger the more you use them, they are powerful and r quite easy to make
gotta go with a carrier. watching my carriers act as suicide bombers and sending face huggers in every direction was probably my highlight of the game. i usually liked playing through the whole game using just face huggers cus it was fun and easy so carriers were the most useful for me. it would be sooooo awesome to see one in a movie.
Ravager was interesting.

I hated ravagers... they reeked of EU... And they just looked silly.

I realize they look silly. But so did everything else. The whole concept was very avp2 (and indeed in some of the "paintings" in between missions the uniforms were jacked straight out of the second vs comp game).
So that didn't really bother me.
Man. This is a toughy. It's either Predalien (His upgrades make him look more badass), Queen (One of the most dinosaur-like Xenos in the game), or Ravager. I think I would go with PredAlien but Ravager is pretty close.
predaliens are so good when upgraded im mean a large group is really unstopable ;D
I said warriors!! Theyre fairly fast and powerful(especially when upgraded!!) ;)
Cystic warriors are pretty tight.
I like the drones there the most useful alien in the hive.
I like the predalien because they can get more health if they kill a lot when upgraded. :)
I have to say runners they were damn fast and their attacks were deadly.
You get a crap load of predaliens, you can tear everything apart no problem pretty much. I vote predalien.
i actually prefer the Praotorians.
I think that the ravager is the best because it is big and tough and isvery hard to kill with normal weapons from a marine unit although they are hard to create is the only down side to these great killing machines

Carrier....whats better then bring'in in 12 new recruits to the party during a big battle?
The upgraded queen is my favorite. Not only is it strong but it makes her children stronger. My second favorite is the good old classic warrior.
Ravagers... I love seein them decapitate all the enemies on screen! ;D Carriers would have to be my second favorite just becasue you load them up with facehuggers and send them in an enemy base and watch all the fun happen.

The predalien. I had one that molted up to 1290 health and a Ravager only has 1000!
Does anybody know what the max health a predalien can molt up too?
Plus I love how they have five different physical looks. Regular predalien, upgraded, upgraded two spines, upgraded four spines, uprgraded six spines.

preatorian man they kill enemys easilly and with a whole lot of them they can easilly overrun a enemy base.plus if the queen dies just make anither one on the battle field make it lay eggs and then you win
Predaliens now after I just replayed a mission. I mean for gods sake I had two that were stronger than my queen. Those two managed to destroy the K-series well one died and there was one ravenger with them but that doesn't count.
The warrior is the best for me.

ALIEN WARRIOR for me.
I have this ultimate Hive on the level: ALIEN 2 : I posted a thread on it, and most of them are Warriors with their upgrade. They are unbeatable. ;). I also have a few Preatorians. They are cool too.
- One of the great aspects of playing as the Aliens is that even their weekst unit (the facehugger), can take out another classes (Preds or Marines) top unit. Like the Predator Blazer or Hydra, one facehugger, and those buggers are gone. It's all about strategy, which is all me. ;)
for me its the ravenger. when your in a tough spot the ravenger can really kick some ass.even if it kills the host outright.
I liked a lot of units in this game, but the for me the best was the Predalien. Easy to create, tough to kill, and inflict major damage.
I love the Ravager to, but its a friggen pain to make. You gotta lay the Praetorian egg, then create a Praetorian, then molt again. Like I said, pain to make. For me at least.
But for some reason, I really liked the Runner... Maybe it was the speed and seeing a group slash appart a group of enemies! ;D
Runners tend to die easily.
Predaliens were good, but so were Carriers...
Nah, my fave unit is Facehugger.

Drones all the way, max out your pop cap with them, with or without upgrades, and you will most likely win the level.
RAVAGEEEEERRR
It has to be the ravager it's just to kick ass not to be.
THe queen should pretty much be ranked as one of the best unit in RTS game imo. Its high in hp do knock back, give buffs and can make insta kill units (huggies) for free who will spawn other units
But my favourite alien is still the plain old praetorian. They look the good look and fight the good fight. I send them in after swarming my foes with a horde of suicide runner that left them low on health and vomiting. Oh yeah plus they get those spore see ppls in blue thingies and spawn queen or ravagers too.
Praetorian, effective and great for Hive growth. When you have a sqaud of these defending a area, nothings getting through!
Runner, why? cuz they're damn fast, Im gonna start playing this game again.
Upgraded Drone were awesome if you have 10 or more bath in acid !
i went out for the day and left the game on with predaliens attacking my predator units with health cheat on came back let my units die and predaliens molt'd the highest one was 63870 it took more then 2 mins to kill with 3 hydra non upgraded attacking it

Carrier...I remember how much I loved having like three facehuggers jump off of its back. Its like a blackhawk helicopter and the Carrier protects the facehuggers.

I maxed out a Predalien once. He was so badass it made the Predalien my favorite class.
Definitely the Queen because she is a badass and can knock people down with one swat. Whenever my guys are in trouble I just detach her egg sack and let her go rape. And if you have her upgraded then all of the surrounding aliens go into a frenzy!!
THE ALIEN QUEEN FOR ME BECAUSE OF HER SIZE, FLOORS PEOPLE WITH ONE HIT, SHE CAN BREED, SHE CAN BE UPGRADED SO ALL ALIENS NEARBY BECOME A POWERFULL FIGHTING FRENZY.
ALIENS ARE SUPERIOR IN EVERYWAY. :) :) :) :)
I am somewhat given a tie between the Predaliens and the Ravagers. On one hand the PAs could upgrade their armor with every kill and had awesome heat resistance. On the other hand, ravagers made short work of every nuisance they came across (especially those Exo Suits). I also thought the Praetorians were also pretty good in their own right, good armor, good strength, decent range attack.
Praetorian and PredAlien.
My Favourite is the Praetorian it can change into a queen if the queen is dead or change into ravager and kill nearly everything or a carrier to transport the facehuggers safely to there victims.

Don't forget, the PredAlien increase their health, i pull this ability to the max, and the PredAlien can have...... 6565 HEALTH POINTS!!!!!!!!!! it's freaking, equivalent for 4 Queens :O and can heal itself, so take ten down, relax, and keep killing :D

Yeah, their ability to take down enemys with his split of cystic acid, and in numbers, the enemy need to kill one at time, unless he have SADAR Troopers, ExoSuits, Military Hydra or Blazer, or simply with a few Stalkers.
Has to be fully upgraded carrier. That bitch has 12 instant kill shots that also create reinforcements it is the most valuable unit (besides the queen herself)
i like predaliens because the more you kill the more hp they get making them the strongest after a long time though
The Empress, Drones, Runners and Warriors. These four are perfect for butchering; since mother's frenzy effect buffs the weaker none-purebred Xenomorphs. Upgraded Drones and Runners backed by the Empress's frenzy effect= a bad day for every none-xeno enemies. :-*
The Ravager for me. That thing looks plain nasty. Armor penetrating claws that can pierce ship hulls along with incredibly thick armor? Awesome.

My favorite warrior and alien because he acid loop over the face and very crazy but they also have another and pretorian and mass pq when the queen dies and turns pretorian a new queen.And get a xenomorph hive
I'd say the Predalien is my favorite because of it's healing ability. Plus he is just a straight up beast in game.
i will go with the predalien because it is the most powerful xenomorph of all time it is also stronger then the queen.
Carrier is my favorite. Imagine that in a film, it runs into the room or cave where humans are and facehuggers launching from its back. It does diminish the egg but regardless the prospect is terrifying.
