I h8 the marines.Im not surprised no1s voted but me. :( Id hav to say flamethrowers the best.
Marines aren't bad. They're just too dependent on the Medic, Synthetic and CommTech.
Smartgunners for me.
The Exo-suit. Can't beat a pair of Exo-suits.

Exosuits were just too damn slow for me. And they took like 4 population points as well.

You could if you had a lot of credits to spare.
Infantry for no particular reason other than the fact the I like their movie accurate pulse rifle sounds.
I don't really like the marines. In hard mode, doing any kind of active aggressive maneuver results in an ass kicking. The Aliens overwhelm you, and Hydras own the living crap out of you. They were boring as hell to play.
Flamethrower for me, they can make a alien and predator HOT. ;D
FALME THROWER jesus its fun burning drones with them i had a bunch of flame boys and medics behind them taking out about 20 drones
The EXO's, the killing machines created by god. They just tear up and murder everything!
Synthetics, because they can fix stuff, and with a decent upgrade and about ten of them, you have a formidable fighting force. With their extra speed and shot guns.
i say the exo suit because of its high armor and health, and multiple projectiles that can slow down an enemy by about five times, big butt whooping on the poor spear masters, brawlers, drones, runners, predaliens, praetorians, stalkers, disk masters, hunters, and vanguards that got stuck in its devastating wave of unstoppable projectiles.

COMMtech!!! the laser that they bring from the sky is f**king devastating. i dont know any units that can stand up to that kinda fire power.....ITS A FREAKING LASER FROM SPACE come on.

I do like the smartgunners but, they are all better when you use them all.
My favorite marine is either smartgunners or exo-suits.

I commonly like the Infantries, cause when they'll be upgraded their armor and guns they'll be more powerful.
Exosuit, but I also like the smartgunners.
exo's for me i had a predalien with 1790 health slaughtered by one (bloody rip off >:()

smartgunners were my faves, but their slowness has been annoying me. I'm starting to like the upgraded version of the regular pulse-rifle troopers. Has anyone tried making an army of just synthetics and com-techs?

id have to say the infintry. i just like the standard issue marines. exosuits are to SLOW.
I have to say I like the infantry best, even though there are many jobs any other unit could much better. But all around, they have a nice balance that I appreciate. Especially when upgraded!

Snipers ftw, send in about 3 synths into a hive first as spotters, and get the snipers to cover them. Cant go wrong with that tactic.

I voted for SADAR Troopers, I don't know, their rocket launchers appeal to me; I would place the ExoSuits at first if they weren't so slow.

XD yeah, a lot of Ravager are the most powerful of the game, they take 225 hit points on a simply enemy! :O

JAJA, a SADAR Troopers group, whit the upgrade can take dawn everything, seriously, i play marine campaign, and one other that can take enemys fast is the sniper, only think, 24 SADAR Troopers with multiple projectiles exploting everywhere XD it's funny
Exosuit due to the sheer firepower and survivability. It is basically a one man army that only the toughest of Aliens and Predators can beat. Although I would say the Synthetic is a close second because they are better than humans and immune to some of the downfalls of being biological, such as facehugger attacks.
