I don't know if people decided to dump sour lemon juice on their expectations and perception of the movie after the fan reviews, but you're only keeping yourself up at night until you see it and decide for yourself...
If its an honest opinion, fine, but before these reviews 90% of the board was pumped about the footage shown and the direction of the movie.

I've said this before, even if it doesn't help much, this is a little character background. I hate how most teenagers act too (hell, I am one, but not the typical listen to fall out boy, bitch about things all day, and cause drama teen). They didn't write the script, they pushed for AVP in space, they didn't get it and had to compromise. Thats it.

To me the setting of AVPR was the most important thing,and suprise suprise "they" whoever they might be got it wrong again.
I dont want to damn it before i see it but its getting increasingly differcult not to.
AVP was awful to say the least,we got a sequel.Will the same happen again if this does well at the box office?if the reviews are anything to go by i hope not.
Please do the decent thing FOX and don't ruin my two favourite movie characters of all time again,You tried and you failed (once,probably twice),leave them alone.

The lighting and music were cool. The pacing is pretty bad, but you said it was edited so that's ok. The thing I'm wondering is how do they know that whatever just jumped in the pool is out to get them? It could have been another person, a piece of pool equipment, etc. Odd.

The movie will not be another alien or predator, but i want to see new things and i want to see the alien in an urban environment taking over the city in droves.
Its interesting to see the alien interacting with normal day people, i really like the movie so far, it will be fun and i will enjoy every minute of it next week.
It is edited, although not that much that someone would remember a difference. Just watch the German version from Giga TV, which is unedited and has Tyler's music, than watch MTV's cut, which is cut up and has temp music from James Horner.

You spoke out the truth right there men! But noo ... Most People here still wanna see it and dont care about the haters (most of them are people who even didnt see the movie ... what a fools :D) .. imo many people are just angry because their lovely aliens are stupid in this movie (they are not .. they are the same like they were in Aliens) and dont realize that Wolf is an Elite ... I'm a Fan of both Franchises and i really have no problem with the behaving ... all is just fine!

And to be fair, the haters WILL see it, except 5 or so that said they won't in the theaters (But they will afterwards... ;))
If the movie sucks, well too bad...it's not the end of the world. If it's at least fun, I'll be happy...but I think it would be healthy for the franchise to wait a few years for a new one. Maybe, just maybe...Fox will understand what AVP is about...
