One day this will be studied in film school. How all the potential and intrigue set up in the first half of a series can just fall apart to the point where the actors seem like they are portraying different characters in the second half. It just didn't make sense. Maybe someone should have called them up T2 style to ask how Wolfie is 😆 because the characters looked the same but it wasn't them. That last scene in the cage. I still can understand how all these characters with such richness in portrayal at the beginning looked like they were waiting for the thing to end and go home. Although I feel editing the editing of the editing is the real culprit here. Still they could save the show in season two. They did enough to get us back to the original way things were going and I'm interested in seeing what being in London changes the feel of the show.

First half of season 1 was decent, maybe 7/10, the second half was just terrible, 3/10. I'd give the series an average of 5/10.
The finale was dreadful. Shockingly bad. So bad, I really don't care what happens in season 2.
I don't know whether I'll watch any of season 2 or not. I'm struggling to muster any enthusiasm.

I love Romulus so much . I almost loved Alien Earth but the Alien suit shots really annoyed me . Some looked fine while others were so wrong . I did enjoy other elements of Earth like the characters, other creatures and the music .
Am i looking forward to season 2 ? Yes very excited.
When it comes to the Alien franchise I just cant get enough content .
Also enjoyed seeing Weyland in Badlands .
I hope Alien Earth learns from its mistakes and that Season 2 is the stronger season

    I'll take Romulus.

Everytime I see Steve, it makes me cringe. All those ADI aliens be looking pretty d*mn good now lol.

Some of the acting in Ep5 was soap opera bad.

Really, that only seems to be the case here and in other fandom groups (I happen to find episode 5 to be the worst of the lot as well, despite overall running fairly warm on the show, so I'm guilty as charged ), but by and large, out in the larger world (both critical and general audience response) episode 5 does seem to be a genuine highlight for the vast majority of people.

Episode 5 was a better love letter to Alien than Romulus will ever be.
I prefer Earth as well. Better characters and more immersive. If Earth doesn't stand up to scrutiny then neither does Romulus.

I like Earth... but I came out of that particular episode with more affection for Romulus than I already had.

I really enjoyed this episode! It was a blast hearing everyone's thoughts on Season One—their likes, their dislikes, and everything in between.

As for me, any time a new Alien or Predator movie, show, book, comic, or collectible gets announced, I'm instantly intrigued. I'm the kind of fan who's going to watch it no matter what—good reviews, bad reviews, or people telling me to skip it. I always want to experience it for myself and form my own opinion.

So yes, I'm absolutely excited for Season Two. Season One had its flaws, sure, but I still had a great time with it for what it was—the story, the effects, the characters, and of course, the creatures.

Heck, I even enjoyed Episode Five—and from everything I've heard and read, that was supposed to be the least liked episode! Honestly, if it's part of the Alien or Predator universe, I'm there for it.
