Alien & Predator Coming to RAID: Shadow Legends!

This is not some delayed April Fools’ joke. It’s happening. Both the Alien and Predator are coming to the popular game Raid: Shadow Legends, at least for a limited time event it seems. The properties are no strangers to making guest appearances in popular games that have crossover characters, skins or outfits. They both appeared in Mortal Combat X, Fall Guys and Fortnite. The Alien singularly terrorizes players in Dead by Daylight, while the Predator has previously stalked players in Call of Duty: Ghosts and recently in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone which we reported on.

Alien & Predator Coming to RAID: Shadow Legends!

Now both creatures are making their debut in the mobile and PC free to play (with microtransaction) fantasy-themed, turn-based role-playing game, Raid: Shadow Legends. The first trailer shows off a prerendered cinematic trailer of both of the creatures causing havoc on a downed spaceship. The promotion seems to be tied with Alien: Earth and Predator: Badlands officially, just like Alien: Romulus was for the creature’s inclusion in Dead by Daylight. In Raid: Shadow Legends, both the Predator and Alien are clearly inspired by the newest on-screen entries, though they are restyled to have a much more classic look to them. The description says:

RAID: Shadow Legends is bringing the Xenomorph, inspired by FX’s Alien: Earth, and the Predator, inspired by Predator: Badlands, to the game for a limited time. Take part in the 14-day Xenomorph Chase Event between November 24, 2025, and January 8, 2026, to add the Legendary Champion, Xenomorph, to your Collection for free. Check out the Champion Pass in-game to see how you can add the Predator to your Collection too!

The second trailer features a deeper look into the gameplay and abilities for the Alien character. We imagine that such a video for the Predator will release shortly as well. Its description states:

A nightmare creature from beyond the stars now lurks in Teleria, and is on the prowl for new victims. Are the Champions of this world prepared to take on this alien threat? Check out the newest Champion Spotlight, which showcases the Xenomorph in all its horrifying glory!

Update:

The champion spotlight trailer for the Predator finally dropped. The character has all of the expected Predator traits, except the plasma caster. The description states:

Driven by ambition and wanting to prove himself, a young Yautja has chosen Teleria as the site of his Ritual Hunt. Time alone will tell if he succeeds, but one thing is certain: no one is safe as long as an unseen Predator stalks the realm. Watch the new Champion Spotlight to learn more about this Legendary Champion and the Skills in his deadly arsenal!

Man, I actually like this take on Dek way more than the design we got in Badlands itself. I'm particularly fond of the way it mimics some of the contours of the classic mask.

Wouldn't mind seeing an up-rezzed version of this design in Hunting Grounds.

I'm a huge fan of Sci-Fi clashes with fantasy stories, and I always was curious about both an Alien and/or Predator falling into the classical fantasy world of dungeons, dragons, magic, and the other usual fantasy elements.

In a cosmic sense, its funny how the crossover fits like a puzzle too. The Alien being an invasive parasitic organism that comes into an unsuspecting realm that is unfamiliar with such a deadly organism that they now have to contend is very on brand of Alien. Then you got the Predator which is also famous for its story trait of crashing into genres and changing the status quo such as action, detective, coming of age, and now fantasy.

Not a fan of gatcha mobile games, but its just nice this very niche interest of mine on full display to see as a concept.

People actually never heard of this game? Their ads are everywhere. The internet is so fractured. It's a typical mobile free to play, pay to have fun type of game from my understanding. All the classical predatory expected stuff. It's very popular and mainstream. I haven't played it and I don't plan to, but it's become a meme amongst YouTubers that they will sponsor anything and everything, on completely irrelevant video topics as well.

Has anyone actually given this a go? I'd never heard of this game until this announcement (I've somehow missed/ignored all the ads). RidgeTop did note it was by the same developers who did Soldiers Inc. who did that AvP crossover many moons ago and that also had a kickass CG trailer.

I am so GODDAMN SICK OF ALL THESE CROSSOVERS WITH GAMES I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT!!

Just make a new AVP game!!

    * sigh *

Ok I'm good now. If anything the Predator looked cool. Looks like he's wearing Dek's armor but had a more classic mask and dreadlocks.

Insane that Steve looks better in this trailer for a microtransaction-ridden timesink of a mobile game than in Earth. I wouldn't touch this game even if you paid me to do so, but the trailer itself is shockingly well done.

I know Fortnite has both Alien and Predator, but they were entirely separate drops. This feels like the first thing putting Alien and Predator directly together in years.
They didn't directly copy Steve's model here like they did with the Fortnite bundle. If you look at the sides of the head you can clearly see parts of Scorched his design. The back tubes are certainly that of Steve/Bear. Legs are that of the Resurrection design (ew) and the arms are also a mishmash of different elements. The shoulders are that of Scorched (just like most of it's head) and the face is also that of Scorched mixed with Big Chap.

A pretty interesting design for this mobile game I must say, you can clearly see parts of the different Xenomorph designs combined into one.
