Predator: Badlands Dek & Thia Coming From Hot Toys!

After teasing their upcoming Predator: Badlands offerings last week, premium 1/6th scale figure company Hot Toys has fully revealed their Dek & Thia figure set from the film. We don’t have a current ETA on these yet but here is the press release:

“Here, you’re not the predator. You’re the prey” – Thia

In Predator: Badlands, the young outcast Yautja warrior Dek and Weyland-Yutani synth Thia form an unlikely alliance to challenge the apex threat of the death planet Genna. As Dek battles to earn his place among his clan and Thia fights to reclaim what was lost to her, their partnership becomes a powerful testament to survival, trust, and the strength found in unity.

Hot Toys proudly presents the 1/6th scale Dek and Thia Collectible Set! The 1/6th scale Dek Collectible Figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs, two interchangeable mandibles, and two interchangeable hairstyles. His muscular physique is recreated with soft vinyl material for a natural seamless joint design. Dek’s armor is intricately detailed with worn metallic textures, layered over a tunic. He comes armed with a foldable plasma sword, a plasma sword in folded state, as well as foldable bow and arrow that is magnetically attachable to his back. He also comes equipped with two shurikens, along with dual wristblades for a formidable combat stance. Completing his imposing look, a wearable bio-mask and a sand-themed figure stand highlight his commanding presence.

The 1/6th scale Thia Collectible Figure showcases a stunning likeness of the Weyland-Yutani android. The figure features a newly developed head sculpt with two pairs of interchangeable separate rolling eyeballs (brown iris eyes and white eyes with Weyland-Yutani Corporation logo), detailed facial scars, along with a finely sculpted blonde hair. Her costume includes a black undersuit and a weathered white jacket, and she comes armed with a pulse rifle. Thia is crafted with a half-body design featuring exposed mechanical details and magnetic connectivity, allowing collectors to attach Thia seamlessly to Dek’s back with the branch-like strap accessory holding her in place — recreating their partnership as seen in the film.
Together, Dek and Thia embody the essence of survival and unity in a brutal world. This Collectible Set is a must-have centerpiece for fans of Predator and sci-fi enthusiasts!

There’s also a standard version of the figure which is just a standalone Dek and does not include Thia, here’s the press release for that one:

“I am prey to none!” – Dek

In Predator: Badlands, Dek — a young Yautja warrior cast out by his clan, rises from exile to prove himself against the deadliest creatures of the death planet Genna with nothing but his hunting instincts and a burning need to prove himself. Against overwhelming odds, he forges an unlikely alliance and dares to challenge the apex predator of the world. He fights not just for survival, but for honor and the right to reclaim his place among his clan.

Hot Toys proudly presents the 1/6th scale Dek Collectible Figure, capturing the warrior’s strength with exceptional realism. The figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs, two sets of interchangeable mandibles (normal and opened), and two meticulously sculpted interchangeable hairstyles (slicked-back and dynamic dreadlocks) to convey his battle-ready look. Dek’s physique is faithfully recreated with a seamless joint design featuring soft vinyl material over the neck, chest, and limbs for a natural, muscular appearance. His armor, detailed with worn metallic textures, includes a chestplate, pauldron, faulds, wrist gauntlets, and greaves layered over a black tunic, evoking the craftsmanship of Yautja design.

Fully equipped for the hunt, Dek comes armed with a plasma sword, a folded version of the sword that is attachable to his waist, a foldable bow and arrow that magnetically attaches to his back, dual wristblades, and two shurikens in both open and closed states. A wearable bio-mask and a specially designed sand-themed figure stand complete this striking presentation.

Combining primal power with exquisite craftsmanship, the Dek Collectible Figure stands as a must-have addition for fans of Predator!

It seems like both versions of the release include the same accessories of the mask, sword, bow, shuriken, and wristblades, with the exception of the submachine gun which is exclusive to the deluxe set.

While these are not up for pre-order yet, they likely will be soon. If you’d like to secure the figure/s for yourself, head on over to our partner online retailer BigBadToyStore.

Actually, what I would have loved for HT to include in both packages is to include the full arsenal that Dek orginally was going to take with him on his hunt. It would add so much new posing possibilities, like I would have like to see what a full decked out Dek would have looked like.

I think predator in 1 and 2 look more real looking these new ones in my opinion look faker especially there arm gear looked so plastic looking hopefully badlands has uped the graffics. The predator movie they looked fake like plastic the new gear was made to look more advanced but looked fake like plastic props especially when boy can carry it around in the movie. The old gear had the rustic look so looked like metal sold gear looking in my opinion and predator looked more real with rustic look. Hopefully the badlands ain't so upgraded its fake looking.

f**k screen accuracy when it comes to Scar and Berserker I say. Hot Toys basically said "nah we can do better than that" and they did.

And best of all, the license holders at the time, accepted it.

@The Shuriken  depends on what you want from a Hot Toys figure. If you want something screen accurate, their Predator figures aren't great. Their AvP figures and their figures from Predators are far from accurate. If you happen to like their idealised versions then good for you.

City Hunter 2.0 - inaccurate head sculpt and armour colour
Berserker - (very) inaccurate head sculpt and dreads too short (it's fine if you like it, but a lot of collectors like accuracy)
Celtic and Scar - inaccurate proportions and headsculpts (again, good for you if you like their inaccurate version)
    Elder 2.0 is pretty fantastic
Feral is pretty accurate. Missing some spines from his shoulders but likely done for articulation.
Upcoming Jungle Hunter 2.0 - way too short.

"Great" in this context is subjective. I'm measuring great as screen accurate. These high end collector figures are supposed to actually match what's on screen.

Quote from: Just Visiting on Nov 22, 2025, 11:05:45 AM@SiL Not sure I'd agree their Predators have always been great. Their City Hunter 2.0 is very inaccurate, as are their Pred figures from Predators. Feral is probably their most accurate Pred figure, but generally they're not all that good.
Their Xenos are generally even worse though, I agree there.
Their new Scorched looks pretty good. Their new Big Chap, although a great looking figure, has some accuracy issues.

What? Hot Toys made Berserker and Scar look WAAAAY better than the movies.

I still hate how his mandibles and mouth droops so low. Just raise it a bit more and we are solid, like goddamm its the second pet peeve of mine that this film is getting on me.

Totally agree with this. He's definitely more tan in the film! Hopefully it's either the lighting or they can correct the color.

Also, a YouTuber I follow Dean knight333 mentioned the eyes are too dark on this figure. In the movie Dek's eyes were vibrant. Another item I hope they correct.

@Mike's Monsters ohhhh yeah you're right. OK, so not gold, but still, was it this brown/brass like shade? Need to rewatch the movie as can't remember exactly. Did a Google search. Looks different in pretty much every pic, but none showed it quite like the HT mask.
Wonder if HT were working from a prop or something rather than how it looks on screen.
  10. The Necronoir
Once again, the toy sculptors end up making a better version than what we see in the film. While I think the final Dek is better than the initial reveals, this bridges the divide with the older designs much more (particularly in the mandibles and head crest area).
  11. LeviatanT
Wow looks even better than imagined them. Must say its instant pre - order like them both. Too bad Dek is missing his cape and his plasma reel/caster. Looks like HT begin doing their best with this franchise in their hands.
