Updated: Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem Funko Pops Coming Soon!

Well here’s a delightful surprise. The popular vinyl figure series from Funko is coming out with a new set of releases from the 2007 sequel, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. It’s not too often we see new merch from this particular film! The four figures that have been shown include the Predalien (super-sized), Wolf Predator (unmasked), a more rare limited “Chase” edition of Wolf Predator with his mask, and the Bull Predator. I haven’t heard the name “Bull” for this Predator before, but it’s one of the Predator crew members of the ship that crashed at the start of the film.

Check them out below!

Word is the pre-orders for these AvPR figures are going live on Wednesday so head on over to our partner BigBadToyStore to nab some if you feel so inclined.

BTW, I´m anything except a funko collector (I only have Norman Bates and that´s it), but I REALLY WANT THOSE BIG HEADS. ;D

I'm not really into Funko pops either, but I do have a few Predator ones, and would be lying if I said I'm not interested in a few of these from AvP-R as well. Specially liked Bull Predator, oddly enough.

God, 20 years. Just put me in the ground now...

I know how you feel... I had just turned 17 when AvP-R came out. The movie is about to turn 18 this december. Damn time flies.
I was 18 when AVPR came out

Were you already a fan then?
Of Alien and Predator in General or AVPR? I was a low key fan of Predator as far as I can remember and I was also a low key ALIEN fan since I was about 6. During my single Digits I was a massive Jurassic Park fan. I wasn't a massive Alien-Predator fan yet until 2002 when I first played AVP2 and its expansion Primal Hunt... also bullies gave me shit for liking dinosaurs.

I meant of Alien and Predator in general. Funny how many of us have similar stories from our early days of being fans. Always enjoyed hearing about those early experiences.

Okay let me go down memory lane, Timeline of my alien-predator fandom.

I was about 5ish when I first watched Predator back in 1994ish

I was about 6ish when I first watched Alien and Aliens back in 1995ish

Out of all of the Yautja, Jungle Hunter's face still gives me the creeps.

I think I like Wolf because I think his helmet and weapons are awesome. Since I only watched the unrated version of AVPR, I liked how Wolf mourned over his dead clanmates. It made him relatable. I think that's why I like Wolf.

Honestly, seeing Funko release these gives me a feeling we might start seeing more AvPR items from other companies soon... maybe even NECA. That's just my guess, not a confirmation, but when one company gets access to a specific part of a license like this, it usually means others have been given permission too. Not always, but most of the time that's how it goes.
  8. Nightmare Asylum
I was 13 in 2007. It's the year that I first got into Alien and Predator and watched all of the original films, actually.

I didn't actually see AVPR until three years later, when it made its cable debut. That is still the only time I've seen the film.

Quote from: The Shuriken on Nov 11, 2025, 12:48:58 PMWow this is...really not fair.

    What do you mean?

He wants the NECA Ultimate Wolf Predator.

Well maybe this means that they will finally be able to touch AvP-R again. So hopefully that Ultimate Wolf is not too far away.

Word on the street via Mike's Monsters is that NECA is well aware of the demand for Wolf, and that he's coming... eventually.

"Eventually" in this case is PROBABLY most likely in 2027 because that's the 20th anniversary of AVPR.

Of course...Rebooter Toys might beat them to it.

Example: Yautja Lore's comment right before mine. They selected exactly what they wanted to reply to from other comments. If anyone can be so kind to explain I'd really appreciate it :-)

If your on a computer, you can outline the text that you want to quote with your mouse and a different prompt for quoting will appear.

Wonder why they choose to go with AvP-R instead of just AvP?

    Because AvP-R is awesome.

Figured you'd like it! I take it you're going to buy them all, then?

Quote from: Nostromulus on Nov 11, 2025, 07:47:03 AMWolf is a great predator design.

Yes, I like his design as well. His mask with the runes is pretty cool.

Would prefer Neca's revival line of figures that have been whispers of for years now. AvP: R is at the bottom of the pile for me (and non-canon for me too) but Wolf is a great predator design.
