It’s November 7th! And that means today is the general release of Predator: Badlands throughout most of the world, and releasing alongside the film is Benjamin Wallfisch & Sarah Schachner’s absolutely fantastic score for the film. I noted in my review that the duo’s work gave Badlands “a particularly unique, but still very Predator sonic identity” that I couldn’t wait to listen to again in isolation, so I have been really excited about this release!

The soundtrack here reflects a more advanced and tribalistic action/adventurous tone that follows Dek into the world. Just kind of wished we had some of that extra tribal energy from the Predator 2 soundtrack, like 15% or so.
I kind've agree with the main theme part, but I would have liked the tribal drums for at least some continuity. Hard to argue they'd seem at all out of place, given the tribalistic elements on show.
Those 15 mins + the fight with the vines had good music, after that it did go a bit down for me (as the resto of the movie)
I am sorry, brother. I have failed us.

The person is a normie and looked at the screen in a funny way, so I decided it was best to change to a more "normal" playlist.
I can't say I've ever played Terraria, but this was another one of those tracks I really got into. I love that quirky kind of sound they went for to open the track up - it's just so Thia.
I can't stop listening to the soundtrack. I really f**king enjoy it.
I liked Tessa's theme but that's literally the only thing I can remember. Film scores are a dead art.
The melody at 0:30 is so Terraria coded
This one specific track has some real John Carpenter energy.
Jesus Christ. This goes hard.

Definitely needs a physical release
It's either perfect or just subpar.
The perfect parts are at the beginning and any action scenes. I think it captures the mood very well. Especially in the first 30min
Once we start getting into the more emotional stuff the score feels like it drags out for me. Between the acting and the music it feels like it's trying to hard to make this a family movie with some sad rift where we got to all come together. Just didn't work for me
Easily the weakest score for a Predator movie to date. It was all just forgettable, generic movie music with a bit of chanting near the beginning.
The Badlands one f**king slaps though.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought that was obvious, I got shouted down at the time.
I was thinking about this. That first teaser was thrilling because of wolf totem
Loved the score of the movie, btw.
I love it.
