The first behind-the-scenes featurette has been released for Predator: Badlands. The 2-minute feature sees director Dan Trachtenberg standing in the rain and saying that it’s the first time it’s rained on location which is what they’ve wanted for most of the shoot.
Trachtenberg tells us about the origins of the project, “taking this classic movie monster and making you root for it”. He wanted to give the Predator “a sense of nobility and dignity in a way we don’t normally see in this genre.”
Throughout the feature, there are behind-the-scenes shots of many of the scenes we’ve seen in the trailers. I think Thia’s sister, Tessa, appears in one of the shots.

Anyway, some new shots there (I hope they stop releasing new footage, though), and Dan seems really enthusiastic about the movie. Can't wait.
