Predator: Badlands Dek Statue At Immersive Experience @ SDCC!

NECA isn’t the only one getting in on the Predator: Badlands fun at San Diego Comic Con! As we posted earlier, Predator fans in attendance at San Diego Comic Con will have the opportunity to risk their spines being ripped out at an immersive experience at the 207 Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel.

As the venue gets closer to opening its doors at 1 pm on the 24th of July, the location has been getting ready with Predator-themed decorations to look like a Predator ship or facility, and now pictures of what we presume to be a statue of Dek in his training armor, mask and cloak have been hitting social media! Check it out below.

Dek’s new Predator sword also lights up at night, displaying that red energy glow we’ve come to know from the trailers! The video below was uploaded to X by Legion of Sand.

Our very own RidgeTop will be on the ground at San Diego Comic Con and will be making his way to the 207 Bar immersive experience, so be sure to follow Alien vs. Predator Galaxy over the weekend for more details on the event!

By the way, Dan just said during the panel that the influence for Dek and Thea is Chewbacca and C3PO So..... yeah is not just in the visuals that we are getting the Star Wars influence here

I guess that makes Bud R2D2.

Jar jar is the key to all of this.

Darth Jar Jar is the greatest concept in all of human history to never come to fruition. Change my mind.

If Bud becomes the key to Predator/Alien universe, then I am all in.
Who put the egg on the sulaco = Bud
Who helped ambush General Hopper = Bud
Who helped Miss Yutani reverse engineer Predator tech = Bud
Who diverted the Nostromo = Bud
Who got Ripleys blood samples for cloning = Bud
Who really is in charge of Weyland Yutani's Bio Weapons Division...some bloke called Steve from accounts. But the point still stands, Bud is Key and bet your bottom dollar he will be in Alien Romulus 2: Bud Harder.

This does sound like a lot of fun. I can't wait to see what friends Dek makes along the way...😏

Correction: as pointed out by another user what Dan mentioned was that chewbacca and c3po inspired the way the pred carries thea only

From the footage description, it doesn't seem like Dek's dad ever takes his mask off in the first fifteen minutes of the film. Guessing that means he'll be the Predator getting the big third act face reveal this time around.

Weyland-Yutani being on Genna makes a lot of sense.
They're probably on the hunt for the Kallisks too since they're immortal, to figure out why that is.
Always after the miracle Peter Weyland died searching for. Prometheus fire.

    He's just the coolest.

He really is... cannot wait to see his face!

I'm not sure the auto-translation is correct but does it say that Genna is the Death Planet and Kallisk a creature?
