FX Network has released a More Coming Soon to Hulu trailer which besides featuring upcoming shows like The Bear and The Lowdown, featured footage from the upcoming series, Alien: Earth as well. Some of the short scenes featured are new, as well as a new line of dialogue that wasn’t present in any of the previous trailers.

Nah even here you can see it clearly. The difference in posts and views between the Romulus and Prey sub-forums is quite big.
I was at a big store today hunting for a specific pokemon figure, and saw that all the old Jurassic toys were in the clearance section, making room for the new stuff from the new movie that'll arrive soon.
Huh? Jurassic World Rebirth's main trailer has 41 million views on Youtube, compared to 23 million for Alien: Earth (which is still great). (Universal account, FX account)
On Facebook, Rebirth's first trailer has 53 million views, while Earth's has 27 million. (Jurassic account, FX account)
On TikTok, Rebirth has 64 million, Earth has 24 million. (Jurassic World account, FX account)
Despite that, it's the one I revisit the most by far these days.
For whatever it's worth, all three of them (Dominion included) grossed over a billion. The only thing that "people can tell" here is that they're going to keep flocking to these movies.
I happen to think that Rebirth looks way better than the previous three World (and previous four overall) films, in pretty much every regard. I'm looking forward to checking this one out.
No one hates it. It's just that there are several better entries.
The Jurassic franchise sequels/reboots/whatever are even lamer than Alien and people can tell. Scarjo just in it for the paycheck. Some terrible dialogue just in that short trailer/teaser.
Also, people have been clamoring for "Alien on Earth" since 1986, pretty much.
Noah Hawley is fresh off a very well received Fargo season.
There is a novelty factor regarding an "Alien TV SERIES".
FX's last big budget production was the incredibly well received SHOGUN.
It's all lining up to be a gigantic hit for FX.
Seriously?! Wasn't expecting that. Interesting. I have no idea what could justify this.
Case and point.

I do love this film but it was so over the top on so many levels. Even Paxton (bless his soul) was even more so over the top.

Predator 2: I'll Be Back
Predator 3: If it Bleeds
Done.
The Weyland Timeline says that there is a cure for 98% of cancers. So Amanda Ripley and Wendy dying of cancer is possible. It just means that they got that 2% that isn't treatable.
As for global warming being solved. The Timeline puts that down as being resolved in 2016, meaning that by the time of the show its been over a 100 years for things to get worse; Progress is not a straight line. By the time of Alien Earth its no longer the "Weyland Century", and there are now 5 mega corporations ruling the earth, with the focus now being on synthetics and immortality, not regulating the climate.
Very true. A good example of this would be where the Weyland timeline says that in 2070 the FDA approved MedPod for At-Home Use, with one dozen already made and tens of thousands on back order. Yet by the time Prometheus takes place in 2094 Shaw states that there only ever ended up being a dozen made.
True, I forgot that, my bad!

Looks like plastic.
Kane is on screen. Depending on the definition of 'reference' here 'cos every scene has references.
They nailed the trailer for Romulus and in fact the marketing for that film was spot on. It had a huge part in how successful the film became imo.
but they're shooting it really well.
That shot does look good, agreed. I do find it funny that it looks the best when we barely see any of it...
I have always been the fan that likes seeing the details in my Alien designs. But not this one, keep it in heavy shadows and it'll work fine it seems.
that's a good shot...
even if i dislike that design.. kinda making it work at times..
The only references were to Ripley in the shuttle, Black goo, Alien Isolation and the Cold Forge.
The mixup is probably between Blue from Cold Forge and Church from Labyrinth?
The only other media to reference Church again in recent time is actually Colony War.
Or did I smoke too much xeno-zip?
I can't find any trace of it online... God I was SURE to have seen it in the movie AND to have read it here.
