Predator: Killer of Killers is less than a week away. The animated Predator film Predator: Killer of Killers just had its premiere at Beyond Fest at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles.
Co-drector Dan Trachtenberg was there and after the screening had ended, co-directors Dan Trachtenberg and Josh Wassung and co-writer Micho Robert Rutare gave the audience a Q&A session about the film.
Social media reaction to Predator: Killer of Killers has been quite positive across the board. Many of them praised the action and fight sequences as well as the animation.
Outside of the screening was a hulking big statue of one of the main Predators from the film. You can see in the picture below that director Dan Trachtenberg and Prey‘s Amber Midthunder were in attendance.
Here’s a selection of positive reactions to the Predator: Killer of Killers screening on X. While people can post about it on social media, the official press review embargo is lifted on June 5th 8PM PT which is when we’ll see the written reviews of the film.
Co-directed by Prey‘s Dan Trachtenberg and Josh Wassung, Predator: Killer of Killers tells three separate stories: a Viking raider who guides her son on a quest for revenge; a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a battle for succession; and a World War II pilot who investigates a threat in the skies.
Predator: Killer of Killers is scheduled to be released on June 6, 2025, on Hulu and Disney+ and internationally via Disney+.

StudioGillis and Trachtenberg must be in their "feet redesign era" because even the antler guy in the Badlands teaser has some new, different, nasty feet.

Actually I like the WW2 predator design quite a bit.
This is the final design, so yes. Though, I can't tell you I even noticed or saw the toes in the movie. My eyes were not paying attention to that detail as they do not play at all into the plot of that story.
Does it only have two toes in the movie too?

And the theater from my seat. I was seated behind Sarah Schachner who did the music for PREY. Lots of familiar faces around last night.

Oh crap, that's neat. Cool to see their presence/hand in the animated feature like that.
By the way, the big statue of the beefy one was built by Alec's team at Studio Gillis. All of the Predators in this movie are designed by his team.
But it resembles more the upgrade than the OG predator though, by far.
Fortunately enough
One of my notes is that there could have been more time with each of these stories, but they are tight and well-made. I just wanted more time in each world. I'll get into my other notes when I can talk spoilers.
It was a lot of fun on the big screen, and I wish others got to experience it. It's a really fun time.
I had notes though too.

God bless animation.
I really can't wait to see this thing. Just a few days now!
Just wish I could see it in a theater.
At least this one is hunting Vikings and not autism.
Hell yeah he's so cool.
**Need to keep the / at the end of the link for it embed properly on the forum.
Spoiler
Also, Dan's hat rocks.
Also, my brief thoughts. More detailed review coming soon:

I wish my instagram links would show the preview of the post!
You're probably not the only one who recorded it, right? You may as well get the clicks in all honesty, since it's getting uploaded either way.
I recorded the Q&A with Dan after the screening but it's quite spoilery. I am hesitant to upload yet to avoid potentially ruining it for folks. Thoughts?
And it's never just "I liked it"; every new film is always the best coolest scariest funniest most exciting movie of the year/decade/franchise.
Looking forward to checking it out next week
