Co-directed by Prey‘s Dan Trachtenberg and Josh Wassung, Predator: Killer of Killers tells three separate stories: a Viking raider who guides her son on a quest for revenge; a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a battle for succession; and a World War II pilot who investigates a threat in the skies.

Predator: Killer of Killers is scheduled to be released on June 6, 2025, on Hulu and Disney+ and internationally via Disney+.

And the theater from my seat. I was seated behind Sarah Schachner who did the music for PREY. Lots of familiar faces around last night.

Does it only have two toes in the movie too?

StudioGillis and Trachtenberg must be in their "feet redesign era" because even the antler guy in the Badlands teaser has some new, different, nasty feet.

The original only had four too...

Despite my misgivings on the predator designs, I am looking forward to seeing this. I'm sure its going to be pretty fun and gory.

Actually I like the WW2 predator design quite a bit.

The only resemblance to Upgrade I see is that he's tall and doesn't have a lot of armor.

By the way, the big statue of the beefy one was built by Alec's team at Studio Gillis. All of the Predators in this movie are designed by his team.

But it resembles more the upgrade than the OG predator though, by far.

Quote from: BigDaddyJohn on Jun 01, 2025, 02:38:29 PMOddly enough, it's closer to the upgrade predator from The Predator than anything else.

At least this one is hunting Vikings and not autism.

    Fortunately enough
  8. Mike’s Monsters
Think of that big Predator design like Kingpin from Spider-Verse. The intent was definitely a stylized look, but it doesn't play into the Upgrade design or anything, though I can see the visual comparison.

    Spoiler
God damn - who is the cameo!? Naru seems like the most likely option, given that the actor who plays her was at the premiere, but I would love it be someone a little more out there

This is exciting, but we must take into account that even films like Flash had very positive reactions in their first screenings. I will avoid spoilers, it will not be long before I draw my own conclusions.

And the award for the best use of full stops in a post goes to ... SiL for " It's hard to get excited by early reviews when they're almost exclusively positive for every. Single. Film." ;D

I've not really had chance to look too much at what has been shared, but as long as spoilers aren't making their way online, seems reasonable to just keep the Q&A offline until Friday and share it then.

It's hard to get excited by early reviews when they're almost exclusively positive for every. Single. Film. These days.

And it's never just "I liked it"; every new film is always the best coolest scariest funniest most exciting movie of the year/decade/franchise.

Looking forward to checking it out next week
