After teasing the initial parts earlier this week, the ‘Gestation’ Alien: Earth viral clip has reached its conclusion. The final creepy and disturbing ‘Gestation’ clip of Species 37 has been released. The final parts show a life form gestating and growing before we see its silhouette in a containment unit.
The clip moves through an eerie Maginot spaceship before getting to MUTHER. It shows the creature’s vital statistics before Weyland-Yutani send a transmission saying that a new species has been detected.

^ Though, I wouldn't be surprised if a few differences are apparent. Also, maybe some new files (cat video(s)).
Between that and the Vegas event next week (which hopefully we'll finally get some real details of this week), I think we're bound to see something.
That said, some upcoming events where new stuff (release date, trailer, etc.) might be shown are:
May 13
-Disney's Upfront

May 16 & 17
-An interactive event in Las Vegas

I've also seen a date of August 4th, so who knows at this point?
Yeah, people who believe the universe will stop building from the last movies are setting themselves up for massive disappointment. There's some Romulus creative DNA in there already, just wait to see the Prometheus parts.
Actually I saw it somewhere where it says July 17th on hulu. Not sure about disney+ but it's a start.
Anyway love this teaser. The fact they put so much effort into showing how a ficticious creature gestates shows how much effort they are putting into the show. It's phenomenal. I love seeing this as disgusting as it is.
I'm quietly confident.
Gillis also pointed out there that his studio was only really involved in this advert. Not on the rest of the show.
I can already imagine a scene where this little shit stings someone and we're gonna get pustulating sores or eggs popping up all over their body.
Think the pharmacy run from The Mist with the spiders
Looks like he's deleted this.
That's a shot for shot exact match of the post chestburster stage
Well that's unfortunate cause I thoroughly enjoyed that. I do hope though that it at least captures the effects we can expect and tone of what's to come.
At least we know that it as practical elements!
So this is not footage from the show proper, then. Confirmed in the post here from Alec Gillis, who contributed to this piece with his studio.
It definitely seems like an error.
Oh, I wasn't talking about the formation of the company, just when WY started using the 'building better worlds' strapline. I took it from Burke and Ripley's conversation on Aliens that they got into terraforming, and using that slogan in their commercials, while she was in hypersleep, but maybe that's an assumption too many.
Noah Hawley said (paraphrasing here) that the prequels were not relevant when making Alien: Earth.
But here I am, dreaming of seeing some Space Jockeys lore in the series. It doesn't have to be something big and expensive, but something!
Even, and given that Noah seems to be ignoring the prequels, something like the Aliens: Dark Descent's Ancient Citizens. I don't hate Engineers btw, I'm just open to possibilities.
But yeah, very unlikely overall
Weyland and Yutani merged in the 11 years between Prometheus (2093) and Covenant (2104). Earth takes place just a couple years before Alien (2122), so that part thankfully makes sense continuity-wise.
As far as I'm aware, he did not. He's usually very quick to share what he's worked on (did so for both Killer of Killers and Badlands as soon as footage for each of them released).
But I see SO much of his Romulus cocoon in this clip.
I must say, this actually looks really good! It also instantly reminded me of Scorched his cocoon, like others have mentioned.
It says Exclusive clip, so it's proably actual footage from the series.
Definitely seems to be the case. Visually it reminds me a lot of Scorched's cocoon in Romulus, too.
Really visceral and disgusting.
Also, i think this is the cocoon that we glimpsed in the Destination teaser, where a facehugger is fighting with another creature of the Maginot.
