EARLY ACCESS
Soon after the Kickstarter ends, all backers will get early access to Beta PDFs of the Evolved Edition Core Rulebook, the new Starter Set, and the Rapture Protocol cinematic adventure, months ahead of the official release.
THE COLLECTOR’S EDITION
The special limited edition of the Evolved Edition Core Rulebook comes with a unique cover design. The special edition is produced specifically for this Kickstarter and will not be printed again – a true collector’s item not to be missed.
There’s also a special early pledge bonus for anyone who backs the physical version of the Kickstarter within the first 48h:
Today, Free League unveiled the early pledge bonus in the Kickstarter: an exclusive cloth crew patch for the USCSS Fidanza, the starfreighter featured in Rapture Protocol, the new cinematic adventure to be released alongside the Evolved Edition.
All backers making a physical pledge within the first 48 hours of the campaign will get the cloth patch at no extra cost.
The Kickstarter offers a vast amount of customizable options and addons for each pledge. From physical editions to PDF only bundles, every major VTT supported, GM screens to miniatures and everything in between, there’s a full range of customizable “pick and choose” options. Some of them are in table below Note that the prices are denoted in the local Swedish krona:
For more customizable options, just pick and choose from the add-ons section. We also have some new lovely artwork from Alien: Romulus related elements that we can expect to see in the Evolved Edition:
Updated versions of the campaign books Colonial Marines Operations Manual and Building Better Worlds are also available. Free League have cleared up that the updates will be to the layout as well as the minor rule tweaks, but nothing more regarding those books. Also, for people who have the PDFs from DriveThruRPG will get the updated versions free of charge. There are so many other features of the Kickstarter for which we have already covered previously like the miniatures and other physical memorabilia, The Starter Set and the cinematic Rapture Protocol that we recommend checking out Free League’s Alien RPG Evolved Edition Kickstarter for more details.
For anyone worried does the implication of this edition being on Kickstarter mean that there is a chance that these products might not actually release and get funded, fear not! Because, in less than 15 minutes it has already been successfully funded and cleared the first stretch goal! In less than 2 hours of the Kickstarter going live, there have been 2.500 backers with over 530.000 USD pledged! The Kickstarter will be live for 23 more days as of time of writing.
