It’s official, the trailer for Alien: Earth is arriving tonight during the NFL American Football AFC Championship game!
Shared to the series social media, a new poster was released with the announcement, again playing off the reflection of the earth in the Xenomorph dome.
We were safer in space. Crashing to Earth in tonight’s AFC Championship game. @Hulu #AlienEarthFX #HuluOnDisneyPlus
We get an up-close look at the new Xenomorph design in the poster, the very same that we saw during the original teaser trailers and got a full sneak peak of in some recent behind the scenes footage of said teasers.
The poster also features a new tagline of “We were safer in space.”
We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled come this evening and we’ll post the trailer as soon as we see it!

I can and will.
Spoiler
I still feel like a general TV spot isn't really the kind of thing you tease in advance.
BUT!
Turns out this one did at least give us something new to talk about as we comb through it, so, I can't complain too much!

Also, to be fair, this never said that we were going to get an actual teaser of footage from the series.
Just that "it" was going to crash into the game.
das a bug all right
Spoiler
Probably carrying other captured creatures.
Is that one of the larvae in that greenish yellow tube?
Could be that it was tussling with a Facehugger early on, but I don't think a Facehugger is what's left by the end of the TV spot.
OK, yeah, pausing on a bunch of frames here, it definitely has wings.
God I hope not.

Wings, too.
FX usually does this for a lot of their shows, but i was kind of hoping that it wouldn't happen today lmao

Word.
So that's something specifically made for this ad and not actually a scene from the show, right?
Spoiler
Still cool to see the design of the Maginot and what i believe to be
Spoiler
But hopefully there is an actual teaser on the way, and this was just a leak for something else (that is my cope).
Spoiler
that was ass
Meant to say AFC, fixed. Don't hurt your ACL tho.
That's what it seems like, yeah.
It's a fine enough TV spot for what it is. I'm just bummed if that's all we're getting after they explicitly teased something coming tonight. Really felt like tonight would be the time to show off some footage properly, even if its only 30 seconds worth, given the buildup. If this is all it is, they would been been better to just letting this this air as a nice little surprise without any buildup.
Spoiler
Also, the ship looks cool and apparently it's supposed to be bigger than the Nostromo.
Spoiler
FX Series usually have a lot of CGI teasers for their shows.
I remember Legion having tons of them.
Spoiler
"It's showtime, folks."
Thanks!
I think the Superman one dropped so much earlier than this because it played at the earlier NFC Championship game, which is currently ongoing. The Alien: Earth one is set for the AFC game, which doesn't start for another hour or so.
Those Google cast listings are junk. Basically just nonsense cobbled together by AI, plucking names from articles, online posts, etc. that may or may not (usually not) be properly relevant.
