Mondo has just announced at New York Comic Con that they’ve acquired the licence to produce Alien figures! Bringing up the end of Mondo’s panel was the reveal that they would be releasing figures based on the OG Kenner figures!
“How many people grew up collecting toys in the 90s as kids? Maybe you remember a certain line of Alien figures from the 90s? Hopefully the one of many things we’ll be doing with Alien and Aliens…but the big thing I’m really excited about is we’re going to be remaking, and basically a very similar idea [to] what we did with the Turtles, with the original Kenner line of the 90s. So you’re going to see some of those amazing, weird Aliens!”

Mondo also announced at the panel that their first release is going to be releasing is a two pack featuring Corporal Hicks & Mantis Alien, along with a facehugger! You can watch the complete panel over on YouTube. The Alien talk begins around the 42-minute mark.
