Artist Alex Nice also recently posted some conceptual work of the Romulus & Remus she-wolf and Weyland-Yutani plaques. One of these looks closer to the final design:

One of the plaques here also has a text inscription:

Welcome to the Weyland Yutani Renaissance Outpost. As Romulus and Remus were raised by a wolf, so too does humanity rise to the stars through the sheer force of its indomitable spirit. With a steadfast determination and the unyielding will of our people, we at Weyland Yutani shall create a space station that stands as a shining monument to our boundless potential and unbreakable resolve.

Romulus and Remus, born to the god of war and a Vestal Virgin, whose unbreakable bond was forged in the fires of adversity and tempered by the fearsome she-wolf. Blessed with the strength and valor of the gods, they founded the eternal city of Rome, a testament to the power of the wild and the strength of the human spirit.

This Echo Probe got me in my feels like the computers turning on and reflecting on the Predator masks on the Antarctic hunt ship.

(Back then I didn't know it was an Alien reference nor had I seen Alien btw)

I'd love to see the reaction of somebody reading this comment out of context.
if it's not a giger fan, an explanation would actually be appropriate haha

there was talk about the barbs on the face huggers legs and they didnt do anything with it.
    absolutely.
    it was a complete waste.
they could have worked out something really crazy here. bishop mentioned in aliens that it doesn't end well.
because navaro dies the chestburster death anyway, they probably thought that was enough.
because they froze the hugger's ass it was too easy.

I think Sil mentioned it, but there was talk about the barbs on the face huggers legs and they didnt do anything with it. I was thinking what if in the Zero G scene the face huggers could still stick to the walls with the barbs and try and jump on rain. There was a ton of potential in all of the scenes but they kinda played out like the Vanilla versions of said scenes.

Maybe the studio slowed him down a bit.
but maybe it was actually implemented as planned.
The tameness in almost all the deaths and especially in the behavior of the creatures made me quite suspicious.
Certainly not bad for Disney but for an alien film by Alvarez?
I mean, the gore factor isn't the focus of any film, but I expected a lot more in terms of brutality behind this direction.

Especially since he (and the cast) bigged it up. I was waiting on some serious gore, a whacko death or some kind of weird egg morph/lore building sequence. In the end we just got fan scenes with cash. Like waiting on the cool bit that just never came. I didn't even spoil anything either.
