As Alien: Romulus has just been released, out now in theaters worldwide, Deadline Hollywood has had the chance to ask the film’s director, Fede Alvarez, a question that’s on many people’s minds: Would he be interested in directing the next Alien vs Predator?
The director suggested that if Alien: Romulus does well and people still want to see it (Alien vs. Predator), that maybe he could co-direct it with Dan Trachtenburg who recently directed Prey, an 18th century instalment in the Predator franchise. Fede contemplates that he could direct one half, and Dan direct the other.
Maybe we should do like Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez did with Dusk Till Dawn. I’ll direct a half, and he’ll direct another half.
