That scene where the Alien is slowly creeping around the corner, Ripley glued to the wall stepping slowly back and those flickering lights. Man. First time seeing that was so f**king tense.
That's the one for me. On first viewing Dallas in the vents was the scariest scene for me, but even now that's the scene that sticks with me on rewatches when the lights are off at home.

F#$% Aliens. Overrated. Brainless. Mainstream lack of vision action-based blockbuster bullsh*t.  :'(

Alien3 needed to be mentioned. :o

Covenant is incredible. No mention? ;)

    Prometheus... no mention? :-X

Instead, he barely gives Ridley Scott a nod. Talks Alien: Resurrection over 3 other films that are miles better.  ;D

    Dah Faq?!

@Alex Spider Yes especially as the trailer has a clear nod to Alien 3 with the shot through the door window with the Xeno popping up behind the character.
I think we are incredibly lucky to have Fede making this film. Having seen Star Wars implode with incredibly bad film making we are so fortunate Alien has survived the last few years unscathed. I think having Ridley as overall custodian of the franchise helped enormously. As soon as George Lucas handed over to Kathleen Keneddy Star Wars went to hell.
My only concern now is the Alien TV series as Ridley had no control over that
