Two behind-the-scenes features have surfaced containing lots of b-roll footage from Alien: Romulus. There are plenty of spoilers in both showing key scenes we’ve either not seen or only seen glimpses of in the trailers.
The first featurette is six and a half minutes long and contains b-roll footage of lots of scenes with no narration or interviews. There are a few scenes in there showing the crew controlling the mechanical Facehuggers.
The other feature is over 12 minutes long and is more structured. Unlike the other feature, this contains interviews with the cast and crew. Interviews include Cailee Spaeny, Isabela Merced, David Jonsson, production designer Naaman Marshall, and director Fede Alvarez. Ridley Scott also says a few words.
This feature shows a lot more behind-the-scenes footage of the main Xenomorph, Scorched.

It reminded me of the monster in evil within 2 with the big saw arm near the start of the game.
What is this?
(It's from Romulus)

I hope one of these exists for Romulus and Remus. So awesome seeing the layout like this

Looks like a ghost/demon from J-horror movies🙈

The first concept art of The Offspring.
Honestly, the long hair would have been a pretty cool design trait.
Also, the storyboard for Bjorn's death scene https://www.instagram.com/p/C_ZczOyRJ4b/
The cargo attachment does make it look bigger than it was.
There's probably some on Art station

Not quite. This is just showing that the eggmorphing was a reference point for visualizing the cocoon.
Interesting that eggmorphing was a design reference.
Though its possible the model was only common for W-Y's company usage and so did not get released publically.
Not using Ian Holm would have helped as well.
The cocoon is a really cool concept. Very Giger-esque in its sexualized imagery.
Example: I noticed that the Scorched Xeno and the Offspring have very similar hand details:

Oh crap, I'm loving these. The way the Alien is depicted as being folded up inside is so cool. Loving the translucency in some of the concepts, too.
The version that's influenced by the cut eggmorphing scene is also pretty interesting.
I really like the one hanging upside down.
Guess it is canon the Chestburster develops a cocoon to grow into an adult like in AVP Extinction.
Also, props to Robert, since i'm sure it can't be easy being that tall, but he really had a solid creature perfomance.
