Movie magazine Total Film has shared three brand new production stills from Alien: Romulus from its upcoming magazine issue. The first still shows some of the crew tending to Aileen Wu’ character Navarro.
The second production still shows Cailee Spaeny’ Rain sitting and talking to Archie Renaux’s character Tyler. Finally, the last still is of Isabela Merced’s character Kay.
The new issue of Total Film magazine is due out this Thursday. You won’t be able to miss it – it has the Xenomorph on the cover. Inside the magazine, it will include an interview with Cailee Spaeny talking about taking inspiration from Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley, Rain’s relationship with android Andy and what it was like to come face to face with a Xenomorph.
Director Fede Alvarez also tells us the lengths he went to, to create the world of Romulus practically and why he wanted to take Alien back to its roots.
Thanks to Darkoo for the news.

What I saw was the movie. The only thing that it didn't have was finished special effects and music. Those Facehuggers were in the movie I saw and were removed from the trailers.
So yes, I do know everything. I was someone who gave extensive notes to marketing on what to put in the trailers and what to keep out. I have seen the movie in detail.

OK, I'll stop being annoying

What you were given to watch was far from the final version of the film.
Even in the trailers you can see how new facehuggers are being added where there were none. And the effects.
So don't be sure you know everything...
Lesbian, or bisexuals.
Kay is Tyler's sister. --->
Rain and Kay are now boyfriends. -_- And you say that trailers don't show much?
Glad it wasn't just me! And I've seen the whole thing!
I had inferred from the VHS/footage presentation scene aboard Corbelan that these two were in a relationship. Now I know better!
It would feel very forced in this movie with the circumstances they end up in. It wouldn't make sense to have serious intense heart eyes going on between folks in this one.
Thanks for the answers. I'm waiting for the movie
There's no lovey dovey stuff in this movie.

v plane vzaimootnosheniy tam vse plokho? Ili yest' chto-to interesnoye?
Is everything bad there in terms of relationships? Or is there something interesting?
Interesting! The movie doesn't go out of its way to explain some of these relationships, unless they added stuff with the reshoots. I was left wondering who was dating who, and if some folks were brother and sister (besides Rain and Andy). But these details aren't really all that important to the plot though either.

Hmm, that's a good one. Absolutely love their look.
I wouldn't be totally shocked to see them used in some capacity, either as the strewn about corpses of Commandos that were stationed on the Renaissance Station and have fallen victim to the Alien(s) before the characters' arrival, or as forces that show up later in the film in an attempt to salvage/collect resources from the Station.
Well, Alien³ is a long way off at this point in the timeline. Fury 161 will still be a mineral ore refinery, if it's been settled at all.
I think it'll just be a passing reference to the planet and how grim it is. You never know tho...
I bet one of the characters mentions Sevastopol station at some point.
But what sort of connection could it have to Alien 3...🤔
Please let it be Weyland Yutani Commandos. 🤞🤞🤞🤞 please 😩
No new images as such.
A few new things in there.
One side of Jackson's Star is in darkness all the time.
Tyler and Bjorn work in the mines.
Tyler is the ex-boyfriend of Rain.
Navarro is Bjorn's adopted sister.
Kay is Tyler's sister.
Andy is synthetic model ND-255.
Sleek and menacing - alien perfection!
Aahh beautiful beautiful. Look at how menacing that sloping forehead coming down to the chin looks, compared to blunt-headed Moby Dick. Oh well, it will be in shadows mostly. Mostly.
Obviously it was fast in both cases. Especially in A3 TC and Resurrection. I'd give 1-10 mins, not even half of an hour.
Regarding Aliens - partially yes. But it was in the script and was filmed, so the director approved this (unlike Ridley's speaking alien). Also this scene was cuted because Ripley (indirectly) kills Burke, and Cameron (for some unknown reason) doesn't want to make Ripley do it. Also it was a silly scene: Burke can blow up a grenade in front of Rupley's face. And why not?
Critisism is an opinion and not an argument. Everything else
I don't take Royal facehugger's two embryos until it on the screen and confirmed.

It was a medical report too, so probably fact.

Which is probably why it was deleted in the first place, it was too fast.
And AVP and AC having fast life-cycle is exactly one of many criticisms fans tend to make on those movies.
We are not just going by the first movie to make comparisons, Aliens has Russ be hugged for a very long time, the novels/comics even say it was around 24 hours but the canocity on that may questionable.
Also its mentioned in that same movie how a facehugger can be surgically removed before implantation, meaning it does not implant instantly.
