Looks a lot like Alien Resurrection. Space station with Aliens that get lose. It's not really Alien or Aliens at all. And the kid thing... even the robot is a kid.

It's a most encouraging featurette and the promise of going to the horror roots. I hope the franchise maintains a good balance of prioritising sci-fi Horror/Thriller focused installments seeing as it's the core of the original, while other instances they can also experiment with the series exploring various genres and wildly diverging directions to explore so things don't get stagnant and samey/repetitive. Sure they'll be up and downs but it the unforeseeable future and the possibilities that await are to be a fun ride, at times the franchise has had it rough but it's endured, let's see what the future holds. Weird to think in 5 years Alien will have its 50th anniversary.

I obviously don't know how or if Romulus addresses it, but think about Simpson and Lydecker in the Aliens colony scene. They might think "not my f**king problem" and leave it for the authorities.

Let's tempt our expectations. I know you're very excited for it, but let's not be to overhyped. That's how we get to be the most disappointed with.
My sweet summer child, i shall do no such thing. I boarded the hype train long ago and left you and everyone else behind.
I love all 6 Alien films, even with their faults and this one will be no different.
It will be everything I want and more.
Disappointed is not in my vocabulary when it comes to these films.
Romulus will be the best Alien film.

Alien and Aliens have no faults you silly boy.

Hopefully answers are in the film.

Wow - From the Initial Teaser Trail they are slowly opening up and expanding it to a full blown Trailers and Extras adding to the Tension - Eagerly waiting to see the ALien Life Cycle and the new things that Fede brings into this Great Alien legacy

Actually quite concerned about this flopping.
Been to big Cinema in UK a few times this month and it has no presence in any of the lobbies or trailers. My teenage kids and friends are not interested in the slightest and they loved Prey and other Alien stuff.
I do not want to sound pessimistic but it just seems off. Can't quite put my finger on it. The film looks cheap for a start. But the posters are great. And Fede is fantastic. I am kinda worried. Are other forum members seeing any lobby or Posters or trailers

Oof, not impressed with this new shot of the alien. It doesn't even really look like the one we've all seen previously (I know it is), it just looks like ADI dodginess from the past (I know it's not ADI).

"SCOURGED" Alien sounds a lot better than that stupid scarface moniker. People here just love to try and invent unofficial names. The footage still seems okay. I'm hoping this turns out to be really good.

They're definitely changing the Xenomorph now in the marketing process because... it has already changed 2 times.

The first one was an ugly turquoise one with a jellyfish head. Now he's completely different and horribly looks like the Alien from Alien Resurrection
