YouTuber Mr_H has uploaded a new video showing a leaked behind-the-scenes look at the practical Alien suit used in Alien: Romulus. It’s slightly blurry, and the Alien is slightly out of focus in the background, but check it out below!

The predator is completely differnt, no one has a problem with it looking like a man in a suite becsuse its supposed, its a humanoid alien like how on Startrek most aliens look identical to us exept for a different forhead or ears or nothing at all. I dont realy care the type of joints the xenomorph has but i do perfer long and thin limbs. The Alien 3 rod puppet is my fsvorite design. Inalso like the proportions and silhouette of the one from Covenant but dont like the lack of Giger's biomechanical aesthetics.
Reminds me of some of the BTS stills from '79.
I love what I'm seeing and I admire it's purity.
Well nothing indicates that wouldn't be the case indeed. I'm not sure if I'd like that though.
Just keep in mind: the most favorite by the fans alien movies have plantigrade aliens.
Also, digitigrade legs work perfectly for the alien-runner. But does it fit for a human-like xeno? I believe a person who said something like that, found the best solution: "Alien can change "bones" and joints inside its body. In one moment its plantigrade for a reason and in the other moment its "break" its own legs and become digitigrade".
Spoiler
I'd be very surprised if we don't end up with that hive being well populated by Aliens at the end. How else do you complete the transition from Alien to Aliens?
Ahh.. We do agree that there are
Spoiler
Def a different Xeno than the one focused on in the main shot

Correct. And this stunt suit is not as detailed. While it shows some detail, it's got a lot more to it on the other practical forms of it that the stunt suit can't do for movement purposes.
So is this you posting your own youtube video?
It does have digitigrade legs in the movie though, you can see them clearly in the trailer. Of course the human worn suit is not going to have them.
I hope this is just a glare
This is a correct statement. I recall another actor in a major franchise re reading the character they were playing to understand how they should perform. Big franchise.
Hello everyone. I'm not new to this site or it's forums. I've lurked for years and I definitely do not know the decorum/full rules etc. Anymore. I'll stay away from all that. My question is in regard to the 4K trailer, has anyone pointed out that the feet, if those are feet, from the scene of Rain firing at the Xeno, have long "nails" or "pincers" however you want to call it? Screenshot attached. Is from a different Xeno? If this post needs to be removed or moved, no issues.https://imgur.com/a/9xdEatt
