Magazine Cover Shows New Alien: Romulus Promotional Image

Gracing the cover of the new issue of French movie magazine Cinema Teaser is a new promotional image showing Cailee Spaeny’s character Rain looking up at a looming Alien above. The issue will feature interviews with both her and the Director Fede Álvarez.

The magazine will be available on July 3rd, check out the cover below!

The cover was done by Illustrator and Designer Simon Delart.

Utilizing Photoshop, we’ve removed the text elements to give you a clearer view of the artwork. The image reminds us a bit of another promotional piece from Alien: Covenant, also featuring a character looking upwards towards the Xenomorph.

The image is pretty striking and I honestly think it would make for a great additional poster for the film.

I will say that while I love the poster I think it feels a tad uninspired. I mean it's literally the same poster as Covenant.
    I agree.
I like it when the alien posters only have a slightly symbolic content, but in the current case it's really a lot like covenant.
The red one with the facehugger was also a nice change.
But my favorite among the alien posters is still alien 3.

I don't know... the one on the left is weird. The Aliens mouth (the sides) look cheap in comparison to the one on the right. More like rubber bands on braces then details on the face. And the girl is looking at it like it's just some lost puppy. No fear at all. No anger even. Of course, David on the right is different, being an android and also with his admiration from them. But I would expect the chick on the left to be intimidated at the very least. 🤨

Think older comic art might have had something similar, too.
There's one similar of ACM, if I remember correctly it was when they launched the Bug Hunt DLC. It's way more cooler than the AvP one though (the image, not the game obviously)

Seem to remember something from Labyrinth with a similar scene taking place but I can't recall if it was framed closely to this stuff or not.

I'm really full excited for this film, I think that Fede will deliver us the Alien film that we all need and want

I just need and want a thrilling adventure with interesting characters, impactful deaths, great visuals and directing, and a tense atmosphere. I think it could deliver just that. Regarding the story, I'm more reserved.
Yes, the story will subject of many discussion. But the film itself will be pretty solid I think

Of course, badmouthing a film beforehand is completely wrong.
    and honestly:
It's been getting on my nerves for years that too many people out there rely on the reviews, opinions and assumptions of random YouTubers.
You have to give a shit what other people say.
(see Alien Isolation: IGN and some others were simply too incapable of recognizing its true potential but many took that as a reason to abandon the game)

I like it when Mike's Monsters reveals planned movie plots and tells us, like in the case of Alien 5.
    That was great and eye-opening.
I like reading reviews of AvP Galaxy.
It's just interesting other people's opinions
But ultimately it has no influence on my own decisions to try something.
If you're a fan and interested, check it out.
If you think it's shit, then you've just wasted a few dollars,
    there are worse things.

As far as the last picture of the Romulus alien is concerned, as a design bean counter I also have my concerns and find the chin too massive. I'm afraid that it might be another rubber show and I might not like it.
But I won't know for sure until I see it in the film. I look forward to it.

    and....of course iam a BOT

The more they show of this, the more it looks like a carbon copy of everything that came before. Not liking the Alien design at all.
