As part of 2024’s Alien Day return of Sir Ridley Scott’s original Alien to cinema screens in the United States, a “special look at Alien: Romulus featuring a discussion with Alien director Ridley Scott and Alien: Romulus director Fede Alvarez” will be screened before the movie.
As part of the promotions for their own bookings, Fandango has uploaded a preview of Fede and Scott’s conversation in which they talk about the iconic chestburster scene from the original Alien.
You can purchase tickets for the Alien Day showings of Alien via Fandango’s website. There has been no further news about showings outside of America, but we’re keeping our eyes out!

You really shouldn't use his videos, you are only enabling him. For clarifications, he is a plagiarist that steals from wikis and even the timeline site if I recall correctly.
Yeah they had the interview for my showing - was a very nice addition to hear Ridley's insight on the movie.
Why didn't you tape the bloody thing for us man?
@The Cruentus ^
I got to see the director's cut for the 40th anniversary in a theater, but I'm positively thrilled to finally see the original theatrical release in theaters for the first time!
Here's hoping we get a screening with the interview of Fede and Ridley.
👍👍👍
40th anniversary is only two years away, so here's hoping!
Hope Aliens is next!
That is truly awesome! Applause at the end.
WOW! I can't think of the last time that's happened.
Also, I did get the Q&A, and it ends on such a funny moment as Fede asks Ridley if he has anything else to add before the film starts, and Ridley just responds: "No."
Sold out cinema for me here in Adelaide. A great mix of seniors, middle-aged (me) and lots of millennials. First time in a long time the audience applauded during the credits at the end of the film.
Me too. I went before the seating for the film so there was no chance I missed something because of timing. And I stayed until the screen went blank.
Not often us Western Australia residents get something cool! ( and it's at the Museum theatre)
The wife remains to be convinced
Did it include behind the scenes footage as well? Or just Ridley and Fede talking?

And hopefully it makes its way online very soon.
Loved it. Sadly there was no Ridley/Fede interview just the preview of Romulus.
Turns out my dad had never seen Alien. He thought he had, but it was entirely cultural osmosis (he knew what facehuggers and chestbursters were) or bits and pieces of other Alien movies. In the end he thought it was "f**king scary". He was also convinced that Jones was going to end up being an Alien somehow.
They better put it online afterwards, too.
Didn't ruin a glorious night though - seeing Alien in 4K on an IMAX screen is a must (if you can). Looked absolutely glorious. So many little things I've not noticed before (and I've seen this film countless times over the past 40 years). Magical.

Assume he means an online release as well?

Did anything about them jump out to you? Or just sets and etc?
Towards the end there's a couple bts glimpses from alien Romulus
Tonight it was just the Ridley Scott , Fede Alvarez discussion
No clips or new trailer
Ditto
Two separate Australian theatres have now claimed there will be a "sneek peek" from Romulus included in the 45th anniversary screenings.
Not sure if this includes all other territories as well or not.
All we know for sure is that two clips from the film were shown at CinemaCon, so we know they have clips ready for public viewing.
Lol. ALIEN's a better film than either of those two.
Though a part of me still wonders if perhaps that discussion might just be what some theaters are referring to when they cite a preview of Romulus.
Another theatre that claims a clip from Romulus will be shown:
