We are saddened to report that Predator actor and all around legend Carl Weathers has died in his sleep at the age of 76. In a statement made to Deadline, Carl Weather’s family confirmed his passing.
“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Carl Weathers. He died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 1st, 2024. … Carl was an exceptional human being who lived an extraordinary life. Through his contributions to film, television, the arts and sports, he has left an indelible mark and is recognized worldwide and across generations. He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, partner, and friend.”
While many of us at Alien vs. Predator Galaxy loved Carl for his performance as Dillion in Predator, he was a prolific actor who had also made an impact in another of Disney’s science-fiction franchises, Star Wars, in the role of Greef Karga in The Mandalorian.
Some of Carl’s Predator co-stars took to Twitter to share tributes to him.

I always thought Predator has Arnold's best acting, but it's mostly in due part because he was opposite Carl. Carl really elevated that film and it wouldn't be anywhere on the level it is without him.
That smirk! He was so handsome. RIP, to a legend. This is a very sad day.
He will be missed very much.

For for me he will always be the guy whom lost his arm and life (fictionally) while shooting a HK94 at the PREDATOR in a redemption scene PREDATOR 1987.
Rest in peace I hope we get an iconic scene in either future of aliens or predator films but I doubt it.
