Not long after the news broke that Galo Olivares had joined Alien: Romulus as the Cinematographer, the same outlet – The Ronin – also shared the news that Gravity’s Production Designer Andy Nicholson was stepping up alongside Noah Hawley as Production Designer for the upcoming Alien series.
The Ronin can exclusively reveal a nifty department head hiring for the upcoming Alien series on FX that hails from showrunner Noah Hawley with Ridley Scott‘s involvement via his production company Scott Free. We’ve been able to confirm that production Designer Andy Nicholson has been tasked for the Earthbound prequel series.
Andy Nicholson has an impressive résumé that includes Gravity, Assassin’s Creed, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Captain Marvel. The Alien series is currently in active pre-production, with filming currently expecting to begin sometime this year. Thanks to Gimitko for the news.
