It seems as though NECA is back on the road to completing their Ultimate Lost Tribe Predators. Last month we saw the announcement of the Ultimate Warrior Predator, and now we have our next Predator in its Ultimate re-release incarnation.
Exclusively revealed by website Bleeding Cool, here’s our first look at Ultimate Shaman.
The Ultimate Lost Tribe Predators have been unique in including more equipped versions of this group. Revealing masks, weapons, and armor we didn’t see them with during their appearance in Predator 2.
Most notably, Shaman sports a striking new mask seemingly made from the skull of an otherworldly beast. Additionally he is wearing a dark poncho over his body. In their reveal, Bleeding Cool tells us what kind of accessories we can expect with this figure:
“The Shaman Predator will include a distinct staff, soft-goods cloak, bone necklace, ritual dagger, an open throwing disc, human skull, hatcheted skull, masked and unmasked heads, and interchangeable hands as well. Look at the details on that staff; that looks like it was lifted right off the screen and handed to the figure. The “hippie” Predator also looks pretty sweet with his soft goods cloth cloak as well and adds to the mystery of the character. We don’t really know anything about this guy, and not much has been revealed over the years since that second film.”
Following Shaman, the only remaining Lost Tribe Predators to receive their ultimate treatment are Boar, Snake, and Elder.
Release details are not yet available so we’ll be keeping an eye out for them soon.

UPDATE:
The Ultimate Shaman figure now has an estimated release window of August 2022. Pre-orders are live on Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth.
Some additional higher resolution promotional images of the figure have been released by NECA and we’ve updated the gallery above to include them.
NECA also added a website listing for the figure.
They'll pay attention to lame b and c rated turtles characters, and then shit on the wolf 2.0........makes sense...
Spoiler
-Bloody Feral Predator
-Invisible cameo Feral Predator
-Wounded Feral Predator
And probably a Naru figure (I would buy it on sight).
They posted it on their Instagram story, so it was temporary and a few tweets saying the movie was good. They also had a panel at a convention today where the only news they shared about the Prey figure(s?) was "they're coming soon" and that's it.
No photos or anything.
Hahaha. Fully agreed
Arnie will sell fine, but the lesser popular human characters are a lower priority.
Also, there's the issue of likeness licensing, which needs some legal hassling.

Greyback does not show up in Prey, it's implied he will be the main Predator of the sequel tho.
A bunch of rare ones are back on there, including most of the AVP Predators and the Clan Leader.
Thanks!! Do you know if they bubble wrap their shipments? Don't want to get a crunched up box in the mail...
I'd say they're less synonymous with Predator figures now that their output has slowed to an absolute trickle and there's barely a presence on the shelf anymore. Gone are the days of multiple waves of 3 Predators at a time coming out in a given year.
How do you figure?
They've outdone themselves on all of their current lines of figures.
Sculpts, paint, articulation.

Snake https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/213150
There's also the 1/4 scale jungle hunter

Yeah, for the 20th anniversary of the movie. Have thesame felling. Glady they'll give us Prey figures! They still owe me dogs from The Predator
Full reveals coming after the movie's release. I wonder if they'll make a figure of Naru...

But I'm sure we are due at least 3 different versions or Feral though lol. And it will be interesting to see in the future how NECA will re-use Feral's sculpt for different Predators.
Regular edition
Cloaked transparent edition
Final battle bloodied up edition.
He was lying, check over on Neca's twitter and you'll see they confirmed they're making Feral. They confirmed this on twitter and in one of the SDCC interviews.
P.S. I can't believe they didn't show off the upcoming predator from Concrete Jungle or any new Alien figures, such a shame...
I understand Dark Horse swapping covers on their Predator Volumes (the Aliens volumes had a lot of this as well) but why did NECA pick up the wrong mask, twice?
I might understand the Golden Angel figure which had 2 mask variants but for some reason, they went with the Kindred mask as the definite one for the Ultimate Version.
Hell, maybe the new movie actually features Greyback with a new mask.

That's surprising.
That´s when you over exploit a franchise. Hope Neca would pull the brake, otherwise the franchise would be saturated, along to damage the finances of Neca.
They weren't going to the do the dogs. They didn't sell for Predators so we weren't getting them for The Predator anyways. This could also extend to the menagerie whom Neca likely felt was a similar risk. The Emissary likely had been planned and either had been done or been in production by the time they found out they got cut. But I suspect that since they got cut so late in the game, the merchandise was already ready if not about ready to ship. Might as well sell it to recoup whatever they spent on the wave.
And I suspect the cut was very late. You can still find them on the home media release in the BTS features along with the actors from the earlier cut of the film. Hell, I even suspect the deleted scenes are from that cut of the movie and yet no sign of the Emissary footage despite knowing full well they shot with them.
It's because they were originally supposed to be in the film. NECA was producing what was thought to be in the film. Marketing has been underway for a while now.
