Following on from their stunning City Demon Predator 2 figure for San Diego Comic Con, NECA has officially announced their upcoming Ultimate Battle-Damaged City Hunter, another of their Predator 2 themed figures in celebration of the upcoming 30th anniversary!
30 years after its release, NECA is celebrating Predator 2’s anniversary with the release of the Ultimate Battle Damaged City Hunter.
The figure stands approximately 8″ tall with over 30 points of articulation and updated paint deco to reflect injuries suffered in his final bout against Lt. Mike Harrigan. Accessories include a detachable severed arm, open and closed smart discs, combi sticks, interchangeable hands, bio mask, and an all-new masked head sculpt.
Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging.
The Ultimate Battle-Damaged City Hunter is currently expected to hit the shelves in April 2021.

Yeah. You rip the skulls from enemies in the game and it has their name and short biography.
They could make it a deluxe figure too considering it had a lot of matching weapons.

Anyone think he will light up like in the reveal? I'd definitely be up for Darkblade clan if they went all in getting it to light up. Longspear seems like he'd be an easy Jungle Hunter retool and Swift Knife would probably be a modified Lab escape Fugitive. Be cool if they had one of the captured Predators that could become the Bad Blood costume from the game.
Or they'll be going right into Prey after all these. My vote is for more Concrete Jungle.

Yeah Stone Heart is big but he isn't that much bigger than Scarface. He's bulkier, not that much taller. And given it's a re issue of the Assassin then does that mean he's coming with the digitigrade legs? They did alter the head, but I can't see the legs making me wonder. This may also just be a case of me not having played Concrete Jungle in awhile but I don't remember him having large Assassin style wristblades either. Really for accessories it'd be a cool idea to have him come with his trophy skull. Or maybe even Borgia style armor since we didn't get to see that in the original game, like did Borgia send them out as is?
I feel like a better usage of the Assassin body would be more like the Black Goo Predator or Goro from the game preserve. I'd have to see more of him before I consider buying.
That all being said that's real out of the blue. I know they said they'd been doing something about doing something really cool and this is, but Concrete Jungle seems an odd choice. Maybe if we're lucky it's a tie-in for a re-release of the game or a remake.
He is not as tall as the Upgrade which they seems to be making on the same scale, he was more tanky instead.

The benefit of that however is that they'd have a reason to make new Wolf parts given Bull's usage of Wolf's gun and gauntlets. Maybe even reuse the boots.

Except when it comes to Titan books.... perhaps due to the looming legal battle or a change in management over at 20th Century, but it does definitely feel something strange is going on with licensing. Bottlenecked almost.
So for NECA to state something BIG and unexpected is coming for Predator is definitely encouraging news!
That said I'm way, way more interested in NECA's new 'The Thing' figures they've teased.
