NECA is continuing to upgrade the Lost Tribe! Following on from the reveal of the Ultimate Scout and Armored Lost Predator back in February, NECA have now unveiled that the Lost Tribe’s Guardian and Stalker Predators are now next in line for the Ultimate treatment!
Predator 2 expanded the universe that the original film touched upon, introducing us to new yautja such as the City Hunter and more importantly, the Lost Tribe that appeared at the end of the film. 30 years after its release, NECA is celebrating Predator 2’s anniversary with the return of each Lost Tribe Predator in Ultimate form.
The Guardian Predator is given an upgrade with an all new body loaded with articulation, an assortment of interchangeable hands, and two heads, one of which is a never before seen unmasked head. Other accessories include a new extended and retracted arm cannon, open and closed discs, combi sticks, and blast effects.
Unlike NECA’s previous release of the Guardian Predator (also known as Gort), the Ultimate version will come with a maskless head, a spear (in closed and open form) and a brand new hand-cannon!
The Stalker Predator is given an upgrade with an all new body loaded with articulation, an assortment of interchangeable hands, and two heads, one of which is a never before seen unmasked head. Other accessories include a snap-on dart gauntlet, open and closed combi sticks and discs, a new articulated canon, and removable chest armor.
As with the Ultimate Guardian, the new Stalker Predator also comes with more additional accessories when compared to its previous release. We’ll be seeing a combistick, a skull trophy and an unmasked head!
Both the Ultimate Guardian and Stalker Predators are currently due for release in October 2020. The previously announced Ultimate Lost Tribe are due out in the next couple of months, with the Ultimate Armored Lost Predator currently scheduled for release in July, with the Scout Predator is aiming for August for release.

I don't see Hasbro producing figures or that they'd have some sort of exclusivity deal. At most I see Hasbro doing is producing something like the Star Wars black series products where they could do a helmet or maybe a net gun toy. Marvel makes a bit of sense when you consider that Marvel is a company Disney has a stake in. Darkhorse doesn't make much sense to license out a property to them when Marvel is the people they already work with.
While Disney does work with Hasbro, Hasbro's demographic isn't the adults who've seen the movies or read the books let alone played the games. Hasbro's appeal is to kids and while their are adult collectors who buy the toys, the audience is kids and teens. They're the people that stuff is made for. Neca is for the adult collector in this sense because we're familiar with the product. The kid who sees Iron man or Scarface is more likely to gravitate to Iron man. I just don't see Neca losing the license since the demographics are so different. I don't even know why Hasbro would think it could even move those products.
I don't think it'll happen. But I just hope it's over speculation at the moment. Neca just struck their 100th figure and I don't know if Hasbro could match Necas detail and the time they've put into their figures.

I wonder if the new Ultimate Elder Predator/Greyback figure will come with the same masks as the Ultimate Golden Angel figure (it would be a nice link back to his younger hunting days).
How many fellow fans who are getting the Ultimate releases of the Lost Tribe, and already have the original releases of the Lost Tribe are now thinking of the original versions as "A whole lot of Preds to custom now"
I do hope that Neca releases a Mike Harrigan figure (but I know Neca has stated that human figures don't sell as well).
