It’s been a couple of months since we last heard about Phosphor Studios Predator VR game. Despite indications that it would be coming to PlayStation VR, and Steam, it turns out that the game is only available for commercial licensing through Steam. So it’s looking like it wont be as widely available as we’d been hoping.
Fortunately for Predator fans elsewhere, the Canadian based VR arcade Game OVR has posted up two lengthy gameplay videos for us to enjoy! The first video is a complete run through of the second of two missions, Secret Base. You seem to be a Lieutenant working with Peter Keyes. Secret Base takes us to Siberia, where the Russians have recovered a Predator and it’s ship and you’re going to put a stop to it!
It also features some footage of the Rampage mode, where you play as the Predator. Rampage is a wave based skirmish mode where you attempt to claim as many trophies as possible, with the different weapons giving your different amounts of points.
The second video begins with a playthrough of the first mission, Jungle, which takes us to the Yucatan Peninsula where you’re sent into the jungle to rescue three CIA agents. It looks like this is playing through Peter Keyes first dealing with the Predator.
It also features some multiplayer footage of the New Orleans map (the other is Jungle). It actually has shades of Predator: Hunting Grounds in that it is one Predator vs 4 humans, with the humans attempting to complete objectives while the Predator hunts them. The map also seems to be set during Katrina, which was also the setting of Storm Blood, one of the shorts in Predator: If It Bleeds!
We’d previously noted that Jake Busey had provided voicework for the game. Rather than his character of Shawn Keyes from The Predator, as the game is actually set in the very late 80s he’s actually playing his father’s role from Predator 2, Peter Keyes.

There is only one trailer which was released the last year and it is available on the game's official steam page. I can only suggest you to read all comments in this topic starting from the first one.
Correction its "VR Arcade" only, which means the named chain of "VR arcades" tm found in leisure centres and Malls, in the same way as "aliens vr".
Don't have any branded "VR Arcades" in the UK but I'll expect it to be sub licensed at a later date.
Steam also confirmed predator vr is arcade only in its steamstore listing.
