San Diego Comic-Con 2019 has come to a close this weekend and NECA showcased some new figures in the world of Alien and Predator. They formally announced three new Alien figures. Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Alien, we have an Alien Ultimate 40th Anniversary Big Chap 9″ figure which NECA have given a deluxe upgrade to with a brand new sculpt. It also comes with Facehugger, Chestburster and Alien Egg accessories.
Following on from that figure, NECA will be releasing yet another 1/4 Scale Big Chap with a brand new sculpt. The Xenomorph stands at 22″ and comes in Kenner-style packaging. The Big Chap was previously released back in 2008 and then again in 2015. Both of these new Big Chap figures will be released around November 2019.
Next up, we have a 7″ Scale Alien 3 Ultimate Dog Alien figure. This has also received the deluxe treatment with a new sculpt and articulation. The Dog Alien comes with a coiled Queen Chestburster as well as a regular Chestburster accessories.
In addition to these three figures, some more Alien and Predator figures were showcased that haven’t been officially announced yet. A 1/4 Scale Alpha Predator figure, an Ultimate Lasershot Predator, and some Kenner homeages such as the Rhino Alien, Berseker Predator and Neomorph. Very happy with this one! Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on an Alien Warrior from Aliens in the future.
Official ones absolutely have tons of them, for f**k's sake they can't even get the shape of the Runner's head right after nearly fifteen years, it's dome's entirely slanted to the one side, compare it to any photos of a Sideshow bust of the thing and you'll see what I mean.
This one is brought from a official neca licensed store, so no ebay stuff in this case. :/
I've heard that the Chinese bootlegs that are all over eBay typically have this issue though...
Aliens warrior I got 5 of and all flawed, ended up buying a used one in mint condition, better bet than buying new from neca xD

Looking forward to getting Ash and please Neca release Kane, Dollar and Lambert in their day to day togs. It will be great to have the entire crew in their work gear.

As I recently got myself a alien queen deluxe figure from neca and noticed the backspines falls out all the time but I added some tiny ducttapes in the holes and they seem to stick together so far but Im worried about her legs as they need to carry all that weight of the body and the smaller defiance alien and isolation one which also had hindlegs bended, have this happened to someones queen or is the plastic on her better? No bending on her legs so to speak?
And if there are other things I need to know about the queen so it wont break one day?
It's interesting that the Brown one reminds me a little bit of the Resurrection Xeno. But it was the ridged top that sold it to me more than Big Chap. I love Big Chap. But felt something different was needed.
Got my sets in today, Parker and Brett are AMAZING!
Ended up finding the Brown Warrior Xeno from Aliens. It was the last one. They had a few Res ones left.
Toys are a little different and Disney has done work with Neca in the past (1/4th Avengers and Spiderman). More than one toy company makes Marvel stuff, I think Hasbro does the toys aimed at younger kids, while Diamond Select and MAFEX do more expensive adult targeted figures.
I think NECA is safe for the time being.
I could see Disney taking the franchise and giving to Marvel, but I can't think of any toy company that could handle the alien and predator like Neca did.
I don't know many toy companies actually, so I might be missing something. What do you guys think?

I count about 101 from one of the checklists I could find but I don't know if any of the criteria would count for Xenomorph specific, products released (may or may not include bundles), or if this includes things like Facehuggers which may be counted as accessories.
