Last month NECA officially announced its Alien Resurrection focused Series 14. Absent from that line-up from the Newborn figure that we’d seen shown off at events. Now, NECA has unveiled the Newborn as a separate figure in its deluxe line!
From Alien: Resurrection, the fourth movie in the thrilling sci-fi series! Two hundred years after Ripley’s death, military scientists are attempting to clone Ripley in order to extract the Queen embryo that was in her body when she died… And on the eighth attempt, they succeed.
Contaminated with Ripley’s DNA, the Queen gives birth to a grotesque human/alien hybrid called the “Newborn.” The Newborn action figure stands approximately 11” tall and includes a display stand. The Newborn features a screen-accurate sculpt and almost 30 points of articulation.
This deluxe figure comes in display-friendly window box packaging with opening flap.

All my predator/USCM armor I've done has also been painted with GW paint. I don't have a real preference for GW vs other brands, its just whats readily available to me in my area.
Really? Even on the rubbery tails etc? Do you just slap em on there or prime first? If so, GW spray primer or what?
If I'm not mistaken, the rubber parts are cast in a matching colour to the rest of the figure and generally only get a drybrush at the factory? I'm really scratching my head over how to safely repaint those without eternal touchups to the base coat as it flakes off.
That is what works for me so far, but I still learn new techniques so that could change.
I am looking forward to that wave.
I like the Kenner waves, the design brings back memories, but improved - but I like to repaint them into 'film' style colours. The Mantis Xenos are looking more menacing so far in the black undercoat, I will drybrush them in a brown (like the Aliens Warriors). Plus I have the image of them all dark looming out of hived tunnels with their claws
The Gorilla Xenos (black undercoat, but will be drybrushed in the blue-grey - like the other Aliens Warriors) are half done. I will post the pics soon - sometimes waiting for the base coat to dry takes too long.
Same in kiwiland. I'm sure they were more like $35 a few years ago, which is still a bit much.
I'm probably going to try to upgrade my Apone with this head...not sure yet.

Their price almost doubled over here too: 40€, instead of 25€, which is too expensive for an action figure.
I stopped collecting for quite a while. It's only been since the last 4 years or so I've been buying them again. But I don't get all of them.
That's about another third higher than prices here.
