They’ve been teasing the Alien: Resurrection series for some time and now it’s official, Series 14 is all about Ripley 8 and those cloned Aliens!
Ellen Ripley Clone 8 stands approximately 7” tall, has over 25 points of articulation and features the likeness of Sigourney Weaver. She wears the clone’s futuristic ensemble and comes with Draco Double Burner and Lacrima 99 Shockrifle accessories, plus interchangeable hands and a basketball. The Resurrection Warrior stands over 9” tall and is faithful to the Alien’s appearance in the movie. It features over 30 points of articulation, including a tail assembly which provides an additional swivel as well as having a bendable portion.
Unlike most waves, Series 14 is made of only two figures. However, NECA has previously shown off a Newborn figure so it’s possible it maybe a special release unrelated to Series 14. Judging from the prototype boxing I would guess it would be released as one of NECA’s “Ultimate” figures. Series 14 is currently slated for release in the 2nd quarter of 2019.
NECA also recently announced their Alien 3 Accessory Pack – Creature Pack, coming completely with Bambi Burster, Queen Chestburster, Super Facehugger and Spike the Dog, due for release in May!

Neca seems to have decreased its saggy bitch tits though.
Looks good, but I'm not sure how they figured the measurements. Looks a bit too tall to me.

Another cool shot, as always.
If you can handle a pulse rifle like Hicks, I'll give it to you.
On that note...
Since it IS alien related.

I have a feeling Resurrection, Kenner, and the rumors of an Ultimate Predalien might be it for Alien fans this year. I definitely don't see many issues with Working Joes--don't have to worry about likeness rights. Still, creatures sell better. The demand has to be there, from what I've seen.

Preferably the standard one. Imagine if it came with an alternate head, an almost decapitated one, hanging by the tubes, Ash style.
One can dream....
I'd love both of those, especially the Joe. I'd be all over a Joe but I think I'd prefer the standard Joe's.

Regular Working Joe or EMP Shielded Joe?

I'd be surprised if the did that. And the bodies are not identical. Greater chance of it being a separate figure some day. I think down the line they're gonna milk the games and comics until they're dry. Especially if new movies don't come out for a while. If they have the license long enough, they'll do them all. The less factory problems they have, the faster it will come.
I mean technically if the Pred-Alien were an "Ultimate" figure like Wolf will be they could totally whip up a second head and add it to the box.

Awaiting response.
It's clearly not newly sculpted- it's just using the same foot mold as the AVP Warrior.
That seems like a fair enough conclusion, but then IMO, they should've made the heel portion in translucent plastic.
I think it's a case of attaching new legs to a figure that wasn't initially weighted for them with the Isolation and Defiance Aliens, as they fall over constantly according to all reports- yet the Covenant Xeno and Neo both have no issues standing up with digitigrade legs.
Or, y'know- laziness on NECA's part- wouldn't be the first time.
I think the heel is there for stability if anything.
The feet look really off to me, like that heel portion shouldn't be there.

The weird calf attachment, tho'...
Not sure about the 2007 version. The Neca Alien Resurrection figure comes soon...

Absolutely my favorite design. Just one thing could have been better, those dreadlocks lined black, like spikes. Otherwise it is perfect.
I think I'm on the same line of agreement.
Honestly, opaque. I can't stand the first release of Big Chap with his fully transparent and bright white dome so I had to repaint it. I don't want the skull to be obvious in my figures. I would like it barely, really barely visible and only up close, but if that's not possible, than no skull at all. I'm talking about the front mostly, the rest can be more transparent. Literally, if Neca does the same thing to the dome that they did to the Burk and Dog alien, but for Big Chap, I'll be thrilled.
