In just over an hour 20th Century Fox will take to the stage at Cinemacon and be showing off footage from their upcoming slate of films. This includes Atila, Deadpool 2 and more importantly to us – The Predator. A head of that showcase Fox has sent around updated synopsis’ for those films:
“From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled Science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.”
Unless we’re mistaken this is the first actual official plot details to be released by Fox. Last year an early draft of The Predator leaked online and many of the details from that leak match up with the synopsis above.
We’ll be covering the footage that gets shown at Cinemacon. We don’t expect anything that gets shown there to be released online but the official Indonesian 20th Century Fox Twitter account recently confirmed that the trailer would be going online in May.

This film will not change that. If anything, it kills it's future.

I agree entirely, I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Except tfor the small boy part, children can be so annoying sometimes.
black goo anyone?
Next month, we believe.
Totally agree
I'm still waiting to see footage before I form an opinion but this isn't going to help with those out there that have already made up their minds.
