The Alien: Covenant teaser trailer is now online! The agonizing wait is finally over. After several days of teasing with production stills and unexplained numbers, the much-anticipated trailer has finally hit the web!
This trailer is one of two that we know were screened to the press earlier in December. The embargo on the Showcase 2017 having now lifted, we’ll have more detailed recounting of the previewed footage over the next few days.

I think that was around the same time that Prometheus' viral marketing campaign started back in 2012. Since Prometheus and Covenant's release dates are now almost exactly the same that would be a good bet.

A lot of places had double bills for AlienDay last year.
Still remember attending the premiere in my hometown here in Australia, back in 1986. The sound was so loud especially during the first dropship scene (had to cover my ears).
I really hope local cinemas maybe bring back Alien or Aliens back to the big screen for Alien Day or Covenant's release. Doubt it though.

Seeing Aliens on the big screen makes a huge difference. Did that movie get nominated for best sound? It was outstanding.

I've not read the 4chan leaks or anything, though I've heard a couple things. But I did read the spoiler-ish first impressions of the footage shown to journalists. I forgot that bit about the neomorph(s) was a spoiler lol.

No, I'm referring how they would show the redband trailer in the theaters. The greenband will be totally different like you said.
I'm here at my local theater to see Aliens. I hope they show the redband with it.

The explosion originates right next to the neomorph we see in the trailer, i'm more than sure its dead.
Maybe you're right but I doubt that the Neomorph will have such a small role. I think the photo shows all the phases of its evolution.
And his deformed face could be caused by the exploding.

According to someone who has seen the greenband trailer it is completely different to the redband version. It's not just a case of the bloody or nude bits having been cut.

There is however an existing greenband trailer (which has already been rated in two countries) that they could have used instead.
The trailer is in cinemas now. We've had reports of it in front of Sleepless and Patriots Day.

Is is just me or does it seem like the Neo-morph dies in the trailer when the drop ship explodes? I sure hope there are others because it hasn't even molted into its full size yet.
