The June/July issue of Le Cinema SFX magazine is featuring a collection of new images of mutant Fifield. The images include artwork of the unused creature design for the character as well as behind-the-scenes images of the final version that we saw on screen.
Thanks to wmmvrrvrrmm for the scans.

Saw the second video before but didn't know what is was about. Now that I see this...this all sounds sounds really cool.

it's depressing how much the deacon actually resembles this schlock...
Apologies if the resemblance have been posted before.

I was wrong.. it's not from the DVD.. it's from the second screen App. It's a cgi concept
And Jenga, i prefer the digital mouth on the Deacon.
I'm frustrated that we didn't get something like this with more of a chin, lips and teeth placed higher up in the jaw. This makes it look more xeno and much less dolphin in my opinion. That said the grin is problematic. Thoughts?
this (from weta)

Elongated head, colour, texture and the fact that the Deacon seems to have a fixed smile/grin. It's very reminiscent of a dolphins's head too.
The grinning faces faces reminds me of these things from Neon Genesis Evangelion

UNF!
I wouldnt put it past them... Alien 3 chestburster was made to be "Bambi" like
The production notes reveal that sharks were the inspiration though.
Damn. This is how I imagined the movie back in 09 when Ridley said he was doing Underwater research and the ALIEN HARVEST script came out.
I imagined a really swampy world, not unlike Dagobah, a swampland with ruins and weird buildings. And as our explorers got deeper into it they'd gradually realise that the swamp was morphing with strange Giger bone architecture and suddenly they'd be in a massive Giger labyrinth.

Great shot of the Deacon.
I definitely dig the greyer color more than the blue we usually see.

Thanks for the pics wmmvrrvrrmm.
That guy in the back was the perfect design for the Fifield monster... alas

Thanks to Seeasea!
Please note that I'm talking only about the old derelict ship when I suggest that, not this new juggernaut thing, with Its chair next to a console, Its statues at the entrance, cryosleep chambers, the digital tech being now surprisingly present in their tech (when Jockeys were supposed to have transcended the digital era and being immersed in some sort of ultra-advanced combination of tech and flesh)., etc
I always wondered why the Jockey's suit and Giger's alien body are almost..., identical?, lol, did they engineer their own suits to gain life at some point or something?
Also, to have discovered that the chair was not used to create the aliens and to produce eggs but only to pilot the ship has been a little bit..., dissapointing. But well, I supposed Giger's twisted (and superior to anything seen in Prometheus) vision of the things and original concept of everything related to "Alien" was too much for these retards behind Prometheus to handle, or even, to fully understand and then portray to a movie.
What a dissapointment of a movie, seriously. And in the end when they leave the planet onboard another Derelict ship..., rofltrololol to that
In case anybody is wondering, that's David Levy's work.

159 just seems to be the Michael Jackson issue, I don't know how they suddenly switch everything over to Michael Jackson like that and have it as the same magazine, that was the thing that confused me.
Here's the address and phonenumber https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-nv6lS1TNzNM/UD9RC6_WyyI/AAAAAAAADMs/LdZQuj-Xmqg/s400/IMG_0001.jpg
I've just found their e-mail address. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bOof4Tt4puM/UD9NOoYlC7I/AAAAAAAADKo/zpzEF6lP15I/s200/sfxemail.jpg
and the website cesar-editions.com is still being built so it says on the webpage
another image, this time of the hammerpede
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-rtsE_cHNN9g/UD9NN5FLalI/AAAAAAAADKk/scdDa-I0r64/s400/hammerpede.jpg
These images are just from issue 158 or also from 159?
I think the new one has just come out of that magazine and they don't seem to have a back issue department anymore for some reason let alone an official site
So I suppose people will be scouring for old copies as ebay.fr and priceminister.com
Lars I've sent you a link in your messages box to what I thought were two issues sold together, but I was completely wrong. My apologies, they had two issues of the magazines sold together during June and July
Do you know where I can order my issue?
I have trouble finding an official site for the mag.
