20th Century Fox has now uploaded the new trailer that just aired on Channel 4 to Youtube. It’s not HD but I reckon it’ll only be a matter of time before it appears on iTunes. There’s quite a few new shots in there which you can find in the forum, courtesy of Cvalda. We get a lot of the backstory in the film as well as a good look at the snake-like creature.

* It's definitely Milburn getting the face melty stuff, the frames are pretty perfectly visible.
Fifield's fighting in the hanger whilst a couple of bodies are burning. Can't see it being him. Gotta be Milburn*, he goes into his encounter unconcerned. (If that's him with the face melt - some say you can see the frames of his glasses but it could be the outline of his eye sockets).

That would be a revelation wouldn't it! Jockey steals the 'fire' from another more powerful race. Said race destroys Jockey's people. Jockey goes into hideing. We come along and steal his tech and find out at the end the tech we steal comes from someone else more powerful.

I agree that the trailer is spliced together to make us think one thing... when in fact the words are from different sections of the movie.

I think he says, "They were leaving," not "They are leaving." I'm thinking we sent signals into space that were picked up, and the Jockeys were on their way to Earth when something bad happened. Whether it was an experiment/manufacturing that went wrong, or an attack by another species, I really don't know, but that's my official story guess before June 8.
Very possible! Jockeys running around with breathing masks can be pretty ridiculous. But as a messed up hologram, it adds a more mystery and creepiness to the whole subject.
Everything has been said which is good so all that is left is anticipation of the best movie of this summer!
Finally picked up the whole saga so far on blu and have indulged in trying to get through it all again before the big day!
I do agree that I really do not think we have seen almost anything yet. The big question is do any of them actually get off the planet at all because unless one can fly a jockey ship I'd have to say No.

From a practical, filmmaking perspective it's a smart choice. Very old-school, obscuring the subject. Elephant-faced humanoids probably look pretty silly running around.

The crew brings back an Engineer helmet, that exploding head is on the same table that the helmet, the actors are the same and are wearing the same clothes as whene they are looking at the helmet.
That is obviously the same scene.
But i can understand people who want to see more than what there is tho...
BTW those Engineer's eyes are very very very human like...

Glad the jockeys seem to wear their masks outside of the pilots seat by the looks of the hologram. But the redub of Noomi during the "no home to go back to" scene is cringe worthy. So out of place.
Seriously dude, what else can it be?!
(1) The head looks identical to the giant head statue
(2) Crew encounter the body of a decapitated engineer
(3) The hologram we see in the recent trailers show the engineers escaping from something. They were all suited up, helmets on. The decapitated engineer could have been an unlucky one who got his head chopped off before he could escape. We know the crew find the helmet of this engineer, so if he was decapitated whilst wearing his hmet its only simple logic to assume his head is also in the helmet. :/
I'm 99% sure that is the head of an engineer.
We know that the mohawk member of the Prometheus crew gets infected with something, that mutates him and drives him insane. Its possible that same thing happened to the decapitated engineer, he got infected, went nuts and one of his own chopped his head off. It would also explain the mutated look to his face.
I believe that was spotted circa-IMAX/Wondercon trailer.

It has the same raw look as the point cloud data from a LIDAR 3-D scan. I am sure that was the intention...but I think they would have better resolution 60+ years from now. This doesn't even look as good as the latest LEICA HDS 7000.
