It seems Prometheus will be getting a test screening a lot sooner than anyone thought. According to gofobo.com, the screening will take place on February 29th, 2012 in Santa Rosa, California. I’m not exactly sure how you get chosen for it. I think you need to be a member of the site and be especially invited to it.
Thanks to BiggMac04 for the news.
Has anyone heard anything from the guy who apparently went to a screening of Prometheus???
Nah, except mr Troll we have no one. But I doubt mr Troll is legit.
I AM !
In my dreams....
In a fictional, made up, lying kind of a way; yes. Yes we do!
I was about to mention that LOL.
I wouldn't have said anything in the first place if I were you.
I'm calling you out; troll!

don't spoil too much.
I'll only know what an idiot I'll look like for trusting your word.
Disendor! I want to believe you so much, but I can't. But if what you are saying is actually real, good luck
I'm not attending that one. Yeah, definitely not that one. Mine is definitely Prometheus though -- I want to make that very clear.
Hang on Disendor, didn't you say that your ticket was titled as "Untitled Science Fiction Film"? Could be anything... Muppets In Space! (if it is, still report back... I love that shit )

Unless you're privy to some amazing, super early, super top secret test screening that nobody knows about but you.
Yup!...A magazine writer was interviewing Sigourney Weaver and they were discussing all the problems they had during the shoot. Sigourney said that at one point, one of the crew had a bunch of t-shirts made with the word "f**k!" printed on the front for everyone to wear, because it was one of the most commonly heard words uttered amongst the cast and crew during the entire shoot, both on and off set.
It was the unofficial subtitle used by the production crew.
Obviously I am missing something here
I think you can still buy those shirts on eBay...
this is another shining example of how they tend to f**k up movie titles in germany... seems like a lot of movie distributers have the urge to add totally pointless subheaders to movies that make no sense whatsoever.
i always found it hilarious how they named the movie "Cellular" in germany - "Final Call - Wenn er auflegt, muss sie sterben" (translation: when he hangs up she has to die"). amazing, isn't it? why not include the full plot summary in the title... gee
im Weltraum kann man nicht lesen
in germany: Alien - The creepy creature from another world
but "dunkle zeichen" (dark signs) don't make any sense, coz the name prometheus, in german, intonate differently than in the english language and that means "pʀoːmeːthɔɪs" (phonetic) itself is the alternate title.
Might be a very boring tagline
Prometheus -- Dunkle Zeichen ?? Isn't that the German equivalent to the English phrase "Dark Signs"? No, I don't think you missed anything, and no I don't know why they would add that additional description to the German title...unless the word "Prometheus" has some different, special meaning in German that would cause confusion? But I don't think that is the case.
Very strange.
But it's not. And people seem to have misunderstood my 'ticket' comment -- it's not digital. It's not a ticket. It's a piece of paper with the name of the film (which is called 'Untitled Science Fiction Film'), the name of the screening company, and the recruiter code, the time... everything is on here. The trouble that I'm having is that I pretty much have to block out everything on this ticket. Obviously, I can take a picture and while that might work for some, it doesn't work for someone trying not to have the book thrown at him and of everything would be visible. This is top secret, look the other way stuff I'm dealing with in regards to the company producing it... FOX.
Cinema tickets with names on them? Lordy, what will they think of next!?
If he posts his ticket and then posts the entire plot, while other people who attended the screening post the same plot elsewhere, then it matters. I want to know whether to block him or not.
