New Colonial Marines Screenshots

Sega has just released a new batch of screenshots from Aliens: Colonial Marines in celebration of the game’s presence at GamesCom (August 17th – 21th). You can see them all by clicking the image below:

We can also reveal that the game will be shown behind-closed-doors at Gamescom. According to Sega, they will be showing a bit more than at E3 to press. Please keep checking this thread on the forum for further updates.

I actually really liked AvP3.
Not as much as AvP2, of course, but I still thought it was a pretty decent game.

Now, as for these Colonial Marines screens....

I am getting a tiny bit of this feeling too. Mainly because of all the fan service. I guess we'll have to wait until we see some damn gameplay.

Looks ''too cool'' if you know what I mean... Doesn't look down-to-Earth enough if you ask me. I'm not getting the Aliens movie feeling from watching those shots.

I'd like to see Sega walk on some thin ice with Fox and then see what happens.
AFTER A:CM is released and patch to perfection of course just to insure it's safety.

Btw idk about you guys but I wanted to see the leaked screen. You know, the one with the sentry guns Why Sega just not dropped it off, its already leaked. Whats the big deal not to show it with the other 5 screens?

Dont forget that the aliens are crawling and staying low to the ground, we still haven't seen a picture of an alien standing next to a marine.

I just hope Im not stuck counting rounds the whole game. I like survival horror, but it doesnt work with the pulse rifle. Maybe some levels can have you crying over ammo but that shouldnt be what makes things difficult.

Seriously guys, let's focus on what's important here and not jump to conclusions... and overreactions at those conclusions. If the case is that the clip is shortened to 50 rounds, sobeit; what, were any of you honesty going to spray 100 rounds without stoping? Fifty is more than enough... but I still doubt that's the case.

I don't know how you could see all of them, one clearly says 50 but the others are too small for me to see.

As long as you have some grenades handy them facehuggers shouldnt be a problem.

Lets hope there is some sort of melee action incase if the player has a Close Encounter.

Another thing I like is, the pulse rifle actually looks how it's suppose too look. I hated the AVP 2010 look.

i cant stand facehuggers i could barely get through avp 2 and avp 2010 knowing one or even more could come at me this game is gonna be the scariest f**king game i will ever play if they have nests and scenes where there are multitudes of them on glass i would be so afraid opf that shit i would pop off a grenade right there into the glass god this game will be epic

Yah they are keeping the big blades. They aren't as big as the 100% ADI blades though. But they are certainly larger than the original designs.

How is it possible that there's more aliens after they blew up LV-426 at the end of Aliens? Does the game even take place on LV-426? Thats what were discussing. Seems they kept the larger tail "blade" and got rid of the fin like thing that are on all ADI aliens cept the runner. Id prefer the little barb but this is ok I guess.
