Classic Predator Weapons & Equipment

Wrist Blades
Like the previous films, the Classic Predator is armed with retractable dual twin-blades fixed in a gauntlet on its right wrist. The wrist blades are made out of some form of metal, though the material used for the Classic Predator’s wrist blades is not as durable as those of the Berserker Predators. In the brief skirmish that occurred between Mr. Black and Classic, the two Predators locked blades, only for Mr. Black to overpower and break Classic’s wrist blades, leaving him unarmed. As shown in the film, the wrist blades are the last form of defence for the Predators and are useful in melee combat. It is unknown if the blades of the Classic Predator can be fired as a weapon like those of Mr. Black.

Shoulder Cannon
The Classic Predator is also armed with a shoulder cannon; essentially a gun mounted on the Predator’s left shoulder. The shoulder cannon used by the Classic Predator strongly resembles the one used in the first film; unfortunately, he never gets the opportunity to use it. It is assumed that it works the same way as the shoulder cannons seen in previous films.

Cloak Generator
The cloak generator makes a welcome return in Predators. The Classic Predator cloak generator works the same as the previous films. Not only does it render the Predator invisible to humans but also to the Berserker Predators as well. Like previous films, it doesn’t work when the Predator comes into contact with water, as seen in Classic Predators’ battle with Mr. Black. For example, when Classic stepped into a puddle of water, blue sparks appeared and disabled the cloak temporarily. It also appeared to be less resistant to damage than the Berserker Predators cloak generator. For example, when Mr. Black ran into Classic, blue sparks coursed Classic Predator. The same effect happens when Mr. Black wrestles Classic to the ground and begins to pound him. However, this may have been due to prior damage to cloak generator when Classic was caught by the Berserker Predators in events that took place before the start of the film.

Wrist-Computer
As with previous films, the Classic Predator is armed with a wrist-computer. It has the same design as the first film, but it is far more advanced as Classic Predator is able to activate the Berserker Predators ship from it. How this is done is unknown, though it can be assumed that he hacked into the control-system of the Berserker Predator ship. The Classic Predator is also capable of activating holograms from its control-panel on its wrist-computer showing the Solar System in our galaxy. How this is done is unknown.

Holograms
The Classic Predator is also seen to have advanced blue holographic images appearing from his control-panel similar to the red holographics used by the Celtic Predator in AvP. The Classic Predator used this feature when setting the Berserker Predators ship en-route on course to Earth. The holographics projected a blue hologram of Earth. It is possible that Classic also did this as a form of communication with the mercenary Royce.
