Q
Not even close to TP ideas. They'll elicit reactions, that's certain.

Ideas based on the script or Thomas Jane's interview?
Script

I haven't read the script but has anything Jane said deviated from the script?

No, it's pretty much in line with what's in the script.

Q
But Jane's comments clear certain things up about how the main characters meet?

So not the entire script leaked or was it changed?

Yes the whole script leaked, but to be honest i didn't read it entirely to keep some surprises in store. Maybe there will be some changes, but i don't expect major stuff to be changed though.

I am surprised people focus so little on it being an early draft.  My guess is a lot of the bull shit the leakers talk about have been changed or come off better on screen then paper.

Lot can change to a script from one draft to the next..those fillers might have been just for the early scripts.

And not set in stone plot points. .?

From what we know, the backbone of the story is very much still the same. You're right, of course, it could come off completely different on screen.

I just wish those who keep hating on the early script would just relax and wait to see the movie before passing judgement
I think it's gonna be a hit

Not worried

The only thing off to me is predators in pants but i bet it will come off as a funny moment and make sense in the film..
Also a kid who bullys an autistic and gets his head blown off sounds awesome

A predator ia a suburb would come off like a slasher film in a way i think. And could be very creepy to think of a predator stalking or sneaking  in a home if for only a portion of the films location.

All comes down to how you film it and what you show or how you show it
