Oddly enough I've also have this image on my mind.
It's unused concept art for Alien: Paradise Lost.
It's show's what I guess are crew members coming out of the forest, on the edge of a hill, maybe even a road leading towards to the Engineers' city.

Now if you were standing in the city, those crew members might look like little white dots.
