The experience watching either cut will be the judge.

I've seen individuals jump from TC to AC and back again when discussing which is best.

Perfect-Organism

I find that the atmosphere which is set up for the AC film with some of the visuals on the Fiorina beach really add a flavor to the film which carries a long way.  That's mostly where the AC excels for me.  I don't like to see bad things happen to dogs either, nor to any animals for that matter, nor to people.  Alien always excelled at the fear of the unknown, and that fear, to me, was just delicious.
