I am still on the fence. I want to see some coop gameplay trailer. I am not buying this game for fourth time just for nothing, no matter how big fan I am.

I've never played Doom3 and Ive only actually played bits of Doom and Doom2 at my cousins house about 15 years ago so this is a definite buy for me. The whole thing is going to be new to me. It does contain the first two games right?

Yes it does. But they are pretty hardcore and unforgiving. I don't mean because of the controller though. You will see what I am talking about  ;D

Doom 3 is great but is even better with Sikkmod and Wulfen textures. Or the self-installing HD mod is just as good. They make the BFG edition look kinda tame, tbh.

There is NO coop in the BFG edition. It's confirmed by Bethesda -> http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1408944-doom-3-bfg-edition-faq/ I'll pass on this one then, I guess. I was thinking to get it for PS3 and play coop, but since there is none I am not gonna buy it. Anyway, for everybody who wants to play any DooM 3 coop, he should try this ;) -> http://doom3coop.com/ You can play the story mode in coop and various custom maps with mission or survival based objective :)

it was confirmed ages ago, something to do with the fact that co-op was a fan added thing, so they didn't have access to the code, which meant starting from scratch and therefore it not being as good as it should be, and them not wanting to add something half heartedly, so they wouldn't finish in time for release had they added co-op.

Wow, it looks like a lot of old horror video games are making a comeback this year; there was that Silent Hill Collection from March, Resident Evil 6 Anthology for PS3, and now this Doom 3 BFG Edition that will have Doom 1 and Doom 2 as well.  I'm a little disappointed that it won't have Master Levels for Doom 2 as I hear that it's an expansion pack for that old game. :(

Really looking forward to this because I never beat it on the PC when it came out several years ago. I got really excited when I found out it'd be in 3D.

Just orderd Doom3 BFG Edition from Game because you get Rage free with it. Ive never played Doom3 or Rage so getting both for £25 brand new is pretty damn good and I get to play Doom and Doom II properly for the first time ever. I played them alot at my cousins house when I was about 8 years old but ive never actually played them and beaten them.

If youre in the UK and youre thinking of picking this up and you dont own Rage you might as well buy it online from Game.
