top one looks miserable. like a mix of a frying pan, and those aliens from 'mars attacks!' but with no eyes, and a huge snot bubble over its face. i dont like it at all. looks very painful also somehow.

bottom one looks much better, would prefer less beluga-like balloon-face design though. i like that it doesnt have a tail, to be honest.

i also love the top one. But yes i am seeing the frying pan look.. Just a few dents that needs to be smoothed out, we should distance ourselves a bit from the zeno and allow this new creature to breath a little. .ofcause it's not gonna look superior to the xeno. .it's not meant to. .it's the xeno's ancestor. .the neanderthal xeno!
