The Resurrected

Pretty good, horrible ADR aside. Sarandon steals the movie with his relatively limited screen time, and the effects are pretty great considering the budget.

One of the few decent HPL adaptations.
I hope we get to see they'll release Dan O'Bannon's cut at some point.

Muldoon shoves his ass down a pipe to get away in the book... leaving Wu to die, if I recall correctly.

Lol explains why they changed it. We wouldn't have had Jurassic World other wise lol

That's not exactly how it went down. Muldoon didn't have much to do with Wu's death, a raptor jumped on him from the Visitor's Center roof when he popped out to warn Ellie that the distraction wasn't working. Muldoon did end up stuck in a pipe, but if I remember rightly it's after he and Gennaro try to defend Arnold as he heads for the maintenance shed.

To be fair, it's been several years since my last read and there's like a hundred different raptor attacks.

Revolt (2017)

Small budget sci-fi movie. Entertaining, good directing.

Atomic blonde (2017)

Meeehhh... Steven Seagal but with blonde hair and a lot slimmer

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

Reading this history of Trek book has me wanting to rewatch at least 2-4.

Bright (2017)

Not a fan of Ayer's directing and visual style, but it was entertaining enough, the concept was interesting, but not exploited enough.

Die Hard

"If this is their idea of Christmas, I gotta be here for New years..."

Not much to say, really. It isn't a contender for the greatest action movie ever made for no reason.
